Now, those Bodhisattvas appear to go to the places of all sentient beings. Some appear to go to the places of gods. Some appear to go to the places of nagas. Some appear to go to the places of yakshas. Some appear to go to the places of gandharvas. Some appear to go to the places of asuras. Some appear to go to the places of garudas. Some appear to go to the places of kinnaras. Some appear to go to the places of mahoragas. Some appear to go to the places of Brahma and Ishvara. Some appear to go to the places of humans. Some appear to go to the places of Yama. Some appear to go to all the places of pretas. Some appear to go to all the worlds of sentient hell beings. Some appear to go to all the streams of birthplaces of pretas. They tame sentient beings by sight, tame by hearing, tame by recollection, tame by the mandala of sound, tame by the sound of the river of names, tame by the mandala of light, tame by widely spreading the net of rays, and mature them according to the thoughts of sentient beings. For the sake of taming, with great compassion that is undifferentiated, aspirations that are undifferentiated, wisdom that is undifferentiated, and in the manner of gathering sentient beings without differentiation, those Bodhisattvas from Jeta Grove, with various kinds of adornments of transformation, appear to fill and expand into all the boundless realms of the world and all the boundless realms of sentient beings, yet they do not move from the feet of the Tathagata. Some appear to fill the ten directions with their own dwellings, tiered houses, seats, and retinues, yet they do not move from the feet of the Tathagata. Some appear to spread clouds of emanation. Some appear to go alone and without a second for the sake of maturing sentient beings, yet they do not move from the mandala of the Tathagata's retinue. Some appear as the form of a renunciate. Some appear as the form of Brahma. Some appear as the form of all ascetics.
