I. Like those inconceivable miracles, the garment of ignorance, which is contrary to omniscience, covers the eye of wisdom. They do not have such a completely pure eye of wisdom of a Bodhisattva. They do not comprehend the way to enter from one Dharma realm to another. For example, there is an eye that is completely pure, free from dust, and endowed with radiance, which does not associate with any dimness or darkness. If someone obtains it, then he possesses this pure eye that is free from dust and endowed with radiance, and even in the darkest night, he can see hundreds of thousands of beings gathered together, who have various rituals and behaviors, their eyes disturbed by the dimness of darkness, they sit in the midst of people and wander around, walking and standing with each other, acting with various behaviors, but those people do not see or know that person acting with various behaviors. That person, however, can see the great crowd of beings acting with various behaviors and rituals, clearly seeing different directions, different shapes, different colors, and different aims. Similarly, the Tathagata, possessing the retinue of the Bodhisattva assembly, with eyes that are completely pure and without attachment, knows and sees all the worlds. Even when showing the transformations of the Buddha's samadhi and great miracles, those great Shravakas could not see the great miracles transformed by the Tathagata's wisdom and samadhi. Nor could they see such a great assembly of Bodhisattvas. For example, a certain Bhikshu in the midst of a large crowd of people enters into the earth-pervading samadhi, or the water-pervading samadhi, or the fire-pervading samadhi, or the wind-pervading samadhi, or the blue-pervading samadhi, or the yellow-pervading samadhi, or the red-pervading samadhi, or the white-pervading samadhi, or the deva-pervading samadhi, or the body-pervading samadhi of various beings.

Or, if one abides in the samadhi that pervades all sounds and melodies, or that pervades all objects, then that multitude of sentient beings will not see that mass of water. Nor will they see the appearance of fire. They will not see even between the bodies of various sentient beings and pervading all objects, except for those who abide in that samadhi and practice accordingly. Similarly, when the Tathagata displays those inconceivable emanations of the realm of the Buddha's samadhi, the great Shravakas will not see or know them. Only those Bodhisattvas who have entered the path of the Tathagata will see those realms of the Tathagata and comprehend them. For example, a person who has applied ointment, as soon as he applies it to his eyes, many people will not see his body. Whether he walks, sits, or stands, he sees all the many people. Similarly, the Tathagata, who has transcended the world, completely transcended the realm of all beings, and entered the realm of omniscient wisdom, who is to be known by the eye of the Bodhisattva's wisdom, although he sees all beings, the great Shravakas do not see those emanations of the Tathagata. For example, a god who accompanies a person always follows behind him. The god sees the person, but the person does not see the god. Similarly, the Tathagata, having entered the realm of omniscient wisdom, although he displays the great emanation of the Buddha in the midst of a great assembly of Bodhisattvas, the great Shravakas do not see the emanation of the Tathagata, the great miracles, and the emanation of the mandala of the Bodhisattva's retinue, nor do they know it. For example, a Bhikshu who has attained the supreme other shore of mastery over all sentient beings, abiding in the cessation of perception and feeling, because there is no consciousness or feeling, the six senses do not experience any action, like Nirvana.

Moreover, even though all worldly terms exist in that place, they cannot know or see it due to the blessing and power of the one who abides in equanimity. Similarly, those great Shravakas, while practicing in Jeta Grove, even though they possess the six faculties, did not see the Tathagata's samadhi, emanations, supreme power, and miracles. They did not comprehend, did not see, did not know. Those great miracles of the Bodhisattvas, and those emanations of the Bodhisattvas, they did not comprehend, did not see, did not know. Why is that? Because the realm of the Buddha is deep, vast, and immeasurable, difficult to see, difficult to realize, difficult to comprehend, and completely transcends all worlds. The realm of the Buddha is inconceivable, not assembled by all Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. Therefore, those great Shravakas, abiding in that very Jeta Grove, even while practicing at the feet of the Bhagavan, did not see those emanations of the Buddha and the great assembly of Bodhisattvas. They did not see or know the countless and inconceivable realms of the world, the pure qualities, and the assembled ornaments of Jeta Grove, because they were not vessels. Then, the Bodhisattva Vairochana, with the radiant light of the crown of aspiration, illuminated by the blessing of the Buddha, at that time spoke these verses: Look, noble beings! The Buddha's Bodhi is inconceivable. The Victorious One has shown the Buddha's emanations, here in the banner of Jeta Grove. The blessing of the self-born ones, in countless manifestations, all the worldly beings who do not understand the principles of the Buddha's teachings are bewildered. The miracles of the Dharma King, immeasurable and inconceivable, the manifestation of the extremely profound, the world cannot enter into it. The colors and radiance of the perfect Buddha, are completely covered by names. Born from the true Buddha, those supreme Dharmas have no self-nature. Emanations have no beginning or end, emanations that are difficult to express by the path of words, very
