I am the accumulation of merit of the Bodhisattvas. What are the ten? Thus, in order not to cut off the lineage of the Three Jewels, the accumulation of merit from generating the intention of enlightenment in others' minds; in order to abandon all non-virtuous dharmas and to completely gather all virtuous dharmas, the accumulation of merit that follows the ten aspects of complete dedication; in order to overwhelm the merit of the three realms, the accumulation of merit from teaching wisdom and prajna; in order to liberate all sentient beings to the other shore, the accumulation of merit without any weariness; in order to abandon all that is grasped, the accumulation of merit from completely giving away all internal and external things; by initiating great diligence, constantly opening the door of the mind, and in order to make abundant offerings and generosity, the accumulation of merit made to perfect all excellent marks and signs; by means of skillful means, methods, and reasons, the accumulation of merit from completely dedicating the roots of virtue, whether superior, middling, or inferior, without arrogance; in order to fully display the conduct of a supreme person, the accumulation of merit that has no contempt and is endowed with great compassion for those who are upright, those who are definitely perverse, and those who are degenerate and have not accumulated roots of virtue; by completely accomplishing with steadfast superior intention, in order to make offerings and service to all the Tathagatas, and to regard all Bodhisattvas as teachers, and the accumulation of merit from being diligent in doing whatever needs to be done for all sentient beings; Alas! Sons of the Victorious Ones! Having accumulated and completely gathered the roots of virtue for countless eons, even the enlightenment that has come into the palm of your hand and over which you have mastery, is completely given to some sentient beings, and there is no displeasure or regret in giving. Similarly, for all sentient beings without exception, having completely gathered what you have mastery over, and completely giving away the enlightenment that has come into the palm of your hand, there is no displeasure in giving, and there is no regret afterwards. This is the accumulation of merit of the Bodhisattvas that follows the vast expanse of space.
