Abiding in the knowledge of sentient beings who practice with attachment to the smell of desire, as well as anger, ignorance, and equanimity; and abiding in the manifest knowledge of all the treasure of smells of those great treasures, as well as grass, reeds, medicines, and forests, however many there are; and sentient beings abiding from the great hell of uninterrupted suffering below up to the peak of existence above, merely by sensing the smell, they abide showing their previous actions; and by sensing the smell of the discipline, learning, generosity, and wisdom of the Hearers, they abide without disturbing the mind of omniscience; and sensing the smell of the conduct of all Bodhisattvas, they abide in the true wisdom of truly engaging in the ground of the Tathagatas; and sensing the smell of the realm and wisdom of all the Tathagatas, they abide without interrupting the conduct of the Bodhisattvas. O sons of the Victorious Ones, those ten are the completely pure noses of the Bodhisattvas. Abiding in those, the Bodhisattvas will obtain the unsurpassed, limitless, and boundless nose of the Tathagatas. O sons of the Victorious Ones, these ten are the tongues of the Bodhisattvas. What are the ten? Like this, the tongue that skillfully proclaims the inexhaustible conduct of the mind; and the tongue that skillfully proclaims the inexhaustible nature of the Dharma; and the tongue that skillfully proclaims the inexhaustible qualities and praises of the Buddha; and the tongue that proclaims the inexhaustible definitive words and fearlessness; and the tongue that proclaims the inexhaustible assembly of the Great Vehicle; and that tongue fills the ten directions of space; and that tongue truly engages all sentient beings; and that tongue illuminates all Buddha-fields with light; and that tongue pleases and prostrates to all the Buddhas; and that tongue destroys all demons, adversaries, afflictions, and samsara, and proclaims the path of nirvana. O sons of the Victorious Ones, those ten are the tongues of the Bodhisattvas. Abiding in those, the Bodhisattvas will obtain the unsurpassed tongue of the Tathagatas, spreading and expanding throughout all Buddha-fields. O sons of the Victorious Ones, these ten

These ten are the bodies of Bodhisattvas. What are the ten? Thus, for the sake of completely maturing beings, the body of a human being; and for the sake of taming sentient beings in the hells, the birth places of animals, and the realm of Yama, the body of a non-human being; and for the sake of taming sentient beings who practice in the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm, the body of a god; and for the sake of showing the stage of a trainee, the body of a trainee; and for the sake of showing the stage of a non-trainee, the body of a non-trainee; and for the sake of taming beings in the stage of a solitary buddha, the body of a solitary buddha; and for the sake of truly arising in the Great Vehicle, the body of a Bodhisattva; and for the sake of obtaining the wisdom of empowerment, the body of a Tathagata; and for the sake of being skilled in manifest realization, the mind-made body; and for the sake of completely showing all bodies through the activity of being without outflows and spontaneously accomplished, the Dharma body. O sons of the king, these ten are the bodies of Bodhisattvas. Abiding in these, Bodhisattvas will obtain the unsurpassed body of the Tathagata. O sons of the king, these ten are the various activities of the minds of Bodhisattvas. What are the ten? Thus, in initiating all roots of virtue, the mind is the leader. In diligent exertion, the mind is the abode. In the dharmas of the Buddhas, the mind is the follower. In the thoughts of sentient beings, the mind is understanding. Because it is unmixed with all afflictions, the mind is without activity. Because it is free from sudden stains, the mind is luminous. Because it does not transcend even a moment of time, the mind is extremely subtle in investigation. Because there is no fault in all times, the mind is extremely pure in the limits of activity. Because the senses are extremely subdued and do not run after objects, the mind is the gathering of the senses. Because it does not cling to the samadhi of the Buddhas, the mind is extremely peaceful. O sons of the king, these ten are the various activities of the minds of Bodhisattvas. Abiding in these, Bodhisattvas will obtain the various
