Having entered the path free from obstacles, and with all the conditions for approaching and receiving completely purified, although there is no hindrance in relying on the enlightenment of the Buddha, one does not manifest the attainment of unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. And why is that? It is in order to fully ripen all sentient beings and to completely fulfill aspirations. The conduct of a Bodhisattva pervades all realms of the world, and this conduct is the ninth mind of enlightenment, like a vajra, of the Great Vehicle. O sons of the Victorious Ones! Furthermore, Bodhisattvas do not fixate on the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, nor do they fixate on enlightenment, nor do they fixate on Bodhisattvas, nor do they fixate on all phenomena, nor do they fixate on all sentient beings, nor do they fixate on mind, nor do they fixate on conduct, nor do they fixate on the past extreme, nor do they fixate on the future extreme, nor do they fixate on what arises in the present, nor do they fixate on all beings, nor do they fixate on the conditioned and the unconditioned. Thus, they abide in solitude. Thus, they abide in profundity, thus they abide in peace, thus they abide in freedom from afflictions, thus they abide in the inexpressible, thus they abide in non-duality, thus they abide in non-conceptualization, thus they abide in the nature of all phenomena, thus they abide in awareness, thus they abide in liberation, thus they abide in nirvana, thus they abide in the ultimate reality, yet they do not cut off the continuity of their aspirations. They generate the mind for omniscience, the conduct of a Bodhisattva, the ripening of sentient beings, the perfections, the taming of sentient beings, the worship and service of the Buddhas, the teaching of the Dharma, and the continuity of adorning the world. O sons of the Victorious Ones! And why is that? It is because Bodhisattvas arise from great aspirations. Whoever thoroughly understands the characteristics of all phenomena in this way, great compassion will increase even more. With inexpressible qualities, they also generate a great mind that does not abandon all sentient beings. In this way, things do not

Regarding all existing dharmas, these ignorant ordinary people, because they do not understand or know the nature of all dharmas, should understand it. Why? Because there is no place more peaceful than the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, for all beings, even they rely on such dharmas, making beings fully mature, and without abandoning great compassion. We generate contemplation, abide in the true and infallible words of the Buddha, without interrupting all Buddhist teachings, manifesting with great aspiration, without hesitation generating Bodhicitta for the benefit of all beings, and extremely accumulating all roots of virtue, being skilled in abiding in the place of complete dedication, realizing with profound wisdom, comprehending all sentient beings, and with a mind of equality towards all sentient beings, urging all sentient beings to accept the great gift of the unsurpassed Dharma, until all sentient beings are liberated, all sentient beings attain Buddhahood, all Buddhist teachings are perfected, and the great aspiration is fulfilled, how can one abandon great compassion? The great aspiration should be fulfilled. Thinking this is the tenth Bodhicitta like the Vajra of the Great Vehicle. O sons of the Buddhas, these ten are the Bodhicitta like the Vajra of the Great Vehicle of the Bodhisattvas, abiding in these, the Bodhisattvas will obtain the Vajra of great Abhisamaya wisdom of the Tathagatas. The Sutra called "The Great Extensive Sutra of the Buddha's Wonders," the seventeenth volume. O sons of the Buddhas, these ten are the great beginnings of the Bodhisattvas, what are the ten? Thus, offering to all Buddhas, respectfully serving, this is the beginning of the great beginning; and making the roots of virtue of all Bodhisattvas firm, this is the beginning of the great beginning; and for the stupas of all deceased Tathagatas, with flowers, garlands, incense, unguents, powders, clothes, and umbrellas, etc.

I shall adorn with victory banners and streamers. I shall make offerings. I shall also perfectly uphold the sacred Dharma. I shall also completely protect the teachings. Thus, initiating great effort, I shall fully ripen all realms of sentient beings into the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. Thus, initiating great effort, I shall completely purify all realms of the world into the unsurpassed pure Buddha-fields. Thus, initiating great effort. O sons of the Victorious Ones, furthermore, the Bodhisattva thinks thus: For all those immeasurable eons in the future, for each sentient being in each world, I shall practice the conduct of a Bodhisattva. Just as it is done for one sentient being, likewise, for all sentient beings without exception, I shall generate great compassion, and in order to establish all sentient beings in the enlightenment of the Buddhas, I shall practice the conduct of a Bodhisattva. Thus, for the sake of the Buddhadharma, without generating even a single mind of weariness, one initiates great effort. Even for those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, one should offer and serve one Tathagata for incalculable eons, and just as it is done for one Tathagata, likewise, one should offer and serve all the Tathagatas, thus initiating great effort. Even after those Tathagatas have completely passed into Nirvana, one should offer to all the relics of the Tathagatas for incalculable eons with umbrellas, bells, victory banners, streamers of all kinds of jewels, and with all kinds of incense and clothing. For each of the Tathagatas, one should also build many stupas, which are vast and pervade unspeakable worlds, adorned with images of the Tathagatas. Those images of the Tathagatas should also have such a form that they pervade immeasurable vast worlds. For the sake of the Buddhadharma, serving and honoring the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, ripening sentient beings, upholding the teachings, and speaking the sacred Dharma.
