Even when manifesting, there is no attachment to the manifestations of the world. There is no attachment to the manifestations of the self. There is no complete discrimination regarding the manifestations of the self and the world. There is no dwelling in the world. There is no cutting off the continuity of the world. There is no dwelling in the Dharma. One is not a slave to the Dharma. Regarding the realm of sentient beings, there is not even a particle of taming. There is no complete abandonment of the realm of sentient beings from aspiration. There is no discrimination regarding those Dharmas. There are no various discriminations. There is no taking of those Dharmas. There is no abandoning of those Dharmas. One also completely accomplishes those Buddha Dharmas that are not existent, those Dharmas are neither existent nor non-existent. Just as that manifestation is neither existent nor non-existent. Likewise, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva also abides in the forbearance like an illusion, and also completely accomplishes the Bodhi of all Buddhas. One also greatly accomplishes the benefit of sentient beings. O sons of the Victorious Ones, this is the attainment of forbearance like an illusion by the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, it is the ninth. The Bodhisattva Mahasattva who possesses that forbearance does not abide in all Buddha-fields. Just as that manifestation acts without abiding in all world realms, and acts without discrimination regarding all Buddha Dharmas, just as that manifestation acts without weariness towards all the Bodhi of the Buddhas and the conduct of the Bodhisattvas, just as that manifestation has no inversion, and acts without a body towards all attachments to the body, just as that manifestation, through the power of blessing, acts without abiding in the form of all forms, just as that manifestation completely accomplishes the equality of reality in the manner of the manifestation of self-nature, just as that manifestation, regarding all Dharmas, acts without dwelling in the Dharma of liberation, just as that manifestation acts in the nature of non-abiding and in the aspect of purity of the nature of all Dharmas, just as that manifestation goes and acts closely with miraculous displays in the retinue of all the Tathagatas.

Acting without existence, like the manifestation of whatever emanation, it appears in the surroundings and all the Mount Merus. O sons of the Victorious Ones, what is the tenth forbearance like the sky, attained by Bodhisattva Mahasattvas? O sons of the Victorious Ones, here, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva, like the sky, enters all realms of phenomena in a manner without characteristics. Like the sky, he enters all realms of the world in a manner without accomplishing all fields. Like the sky, he enters all phenomena in a manner without duality. Like the sky, he enters the conduct of all sentient beings in a manner without entering. Like the sky, he enters all Buddhas in a manner without differentiation. Like the sky, he enters all the powers of the Thus-Gone Ones in a manner without difference. Like the sky, he thoroughly enters all meditations in a manner of the past limit, the future limit, and the present arising. Like the sky, he enters the accurate teaching of all phenomena in a manner that cannot be expressed. Like the sky, he enters the body of all the Thus-Gone Ones in a manner without attachment and without obscuration. Like the sky, he enters the non-manifestation of all phenomena in a manner of the realm of the sky. Thus, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva enters all phenomena with the wisdom arising from such forbearance like the sky, he thoroughly obtains a body like the sky. He thoroughly obtains the action of a body like the sky. He thoroughly obtains speech like the sky. He thoroughly obtains the action of speech like the sky. He thoroughly obtains mind like the sky. He thoroughly obtains the action of mind like the sky. This is like an example: the sky possesses all phenomena; there is no death or change, and there is no birth. Similarly, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva also possesses the body of all phenomena; there is no death or change, and there is no birth. This is like an example: the sky has no basis and no difference. Similarly, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva also possesses all phenomena.

Therefore, know that the baseless is no different from the powers of the Buddhas. For example, space is the basis of all worlds, but because it has no nature and no place, it is not a basis. Similarly, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva is also the basis of all dharmas, but because all dharmas have no nature, it is not a basis. For example, space has no birth and no cessation, yet it holds the birth and cessation of all worlds. Similarly, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva has neither entering nor completion, yet he perfectly shows the purity of all worlds. For example, space is neither a direction nor a corner, yet it completely inclines towards the boundless ocean of directions. Similarly, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva is neither karma nor its ripening, yet he completely shows the ocean of karma and its ripening. For example, space has neither rising nor dwelling, yet it completely shows endless distinctions. Similarly, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva has neither conduct nor abiding, yet he completely shows the distinctions of conduct. For example, space is neither color nor colorless, yet it completely shows the appearance of color. Similarly, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva is neither worldly color nor transcendent color, yet he completely shows endless colors. For example, space neither abides for a long time nor abides for a short time, yet it perfectly shows abiding and complete abiding. Similarly, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva neither abides for a long time nor abides for a short time, yet he perfectly shows abiding in the conduct of a Bodhisattva and complete abiding. For example, space is neither defiled by all afflictions nor purified by complete purification. Similarly, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva is neither obscured by entering the world nor becomes completely pure and clear.
