For a moment, sometimes for the time of a finger snap, sometimes for the time of evening, sometimes for the time of a fleeting moment, sometimes for a month, sometimes for a year, sometimes for a hundred years, sometimes for a hundred million years, sometimes for a hundred trillion years, sometimes for one kalpa, sometimes for a hundred kalpas, sometimes for a thousand kalpas, sometimes for a hundred thousand kalpas, sometimes for a hundred trillion kalpas, sometimes for immeasurable kalpas, sometimes for inconceivable kalpas, sometimes for boundless kalpas, sometimes for endless kalpas, sometimes for countless kalpas, sometimes for unimaginable kalpas, sometimes for immeasurable kalpas, sometimes for innumerable kalpas, sometimes for limitless kalpas, sometimes for unspeakable kalpas, even while entering into samadhi, that Bodhisattva does not think that those illusory dharmas are permanent. Nor does he think of following other times. That Bodhisattva does not become attached to those various kinds of different times. Nor does he become infatuated. Nor does he dominate. He does not discriminate. He does not make distinctions. Because he engages in all dharmas without懈怠, he possesses the direct knowledge of loving-kindness. He possesses the direct knowledge of samadhi. O sons of the Victorious Ones! For example, the son of the gods, the sun, appears and moves during the day, but does not associate with the day, nor does he associate with the night. When it moves, it appears as day, and when night comes, it also appears as night. However, the day does not increase, nor does the night decrease. Similarly, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva also enters into samadhi in countless world realms and manifests through enumeration. O sons of the Victorious Ones! This is called the third, the wisdom of the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas who are skilled in vast samadhi, following from one boundless realm to another. O sons of the Victorious Ones! Furthermore, the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas are the bodies of sentient beings, the bodies of the Buddhas.

And have deep faith. Because he sees so many Tathagatas, he offers to those Tathagatas all the best forms of incense, the number of which is equal to the extremely small dust of countless worlds. Offer with all kinds of pleasing flowers. Offer in the form of vast fields, the number of which is equal to the extremely small dust of countless Buddha lands. Offer with all the decorations that surpass all beings. Offer in all forms filled with immeasurable treasures of all beings. Offer in the form of a collection of various ornaments. Offer in the form of countless precious and supreme temples. Offer with clothes and food that surpass even the gods, and the supreme form of the Buddha's blessings. Offer with all kinds of different ornaments that purify all Buddha lands, and all forms belonging to serving and offering to the Buddha, in a manner that possesses the means to serve all Buddhas. Also prostrate to the feet of those Tathagatas and completely devote the entire body. Also do the work of servants, and also understand the Buddha's teachings very well. Also completely grasp the Buddha's teachings. Also comprehend the greatness of the Buddha. By entering again and again correctly into Suchness, one enters completely. Also completely follow great compassion. Also have deep faith in increasing the power of non-attachment, and also completely attain all the Buddha's teachings. Also completely follow the lord of all sentient beings, and also completely enter the end in an instant. When those Tathagatas appear, birth is not seen. When those Tathagatas pass into Nirvana, destruction is not seen.

At the time of cessation, it will not cease from anything unapprehended. O sons of the Conquerors! Likewise, Bodhisattvas do not apprehend the arising of the Tathagatas. At the time when the Tathagatas pass into Nirvana, they do not apprehend destruction either. O sons of the Conquerors! For example, the appearance of a mirage at noon is not produced from clouds, nor is it produced from the ocean, it does not exist in the clouds, nor does it exist on the ground, it is not produced from any direction, it is not virtuous, nor is it non-virtuous, it is not faith, nor is it turbid, it is not a drink, nor is it flowing, it is not something existent, nor is it something non-existent, it does not possess taste, nor does it belong to the category of discrimination and non-discrimination. But because of it, it can be designated as a discriminating consciousness. Just as the continuum of a mirage, the perception of a river arises. From afar, perception and discriminating consciousness arise. When approached closely, it disappears, and there is no apprehension of the mirage. O sons of the Conquerors! Likewise, Bodhisattvas do not apprehend the birth of the Tathagatas. At the time when the Tathagatas pass into Nirvana, they do not apprehend destruction either, but because there is a sign, they discriminate the Buddha with the perception of the Buddha. Because there is no sign, they do not apprehend with the sign of no sign. O sons of the Conquerors! This is called the practice of Bodhisattva Mahasattvas with the pure intention of meditative absorption, and even if they enter and arise from it, it does not perish. O sons of the Conquerors! For example, a person who falls asleep dreams a dream, and upon awakening, he remembers the signs with his mind, and remembers clearly, without the obscuration of the dream, he can discriminate the dream, and even when awake, he can fully remember by recalling the dream. O sons of the Conquerors! Likewise, Bodhisattva Mahasattvas also do not completely destroy the signs of seeing the Buddha. They also truly uphold those who have taken the Buddhadharma. The Tathagatas also purify the circle of their retinue.
