Abiding on the Dharma seat, with a single tone, he enables all the retinue to correctly understand the various different types of sounds. If he wishes, by distinguishing the various sounds and different parts of the tone, he makes all the retinue clearly understand. If he wishes, by approaching the door of light rays, he very clearly expounds the door of the Dharma. If he wishes, he very clearly expounds the different tones from all the pores of his skin. If he wishes, he causes the sound of the Dharma to arise from all the forms that appear in the three-thousand great-thousand world system. If he wishes, with the sound of a single tone, he encompasses all the realms of Dharma. If he wishes, he blesses all sounds and tones as the sound of the Dharma. If he wishes, he causes the sound of the Dharma to arise from all the sounds of songs, music, striking, and playing that exist in all the world systems. If he wishes, from the sound of a single letter, he causes the sound that thoroughly distinguishes the words of all the Dharmas to arise. If he wishes, from the infinitely vast and inexpressible world systems, from the extremely subtle particles of earth, water, fire, and wind, from each extremely subtle particle, he causes inexpressible doors of Dharma to arise. If, indeed, beings belonging to the three-thousand great-thousand world system come to him, and in an instant, a moment, a short time, ask all questions completely, and each of them asks with immeasurable different kinds of sounds, and even if what one asks is not asked by another, the Bodhisattva remembers all the different sounds and words of all those beings, and even the syllables of the letters, completely. Having remembered them, by uttering a single word, he satisfies the minds and thoughts of all those beings, up to all the beings belonging to the inexpressible world systems, who ask all questions completely in an instant, a short time, and each of them asks with immeasurable different kinds of sounds, and even if what one asks is not asked by another, the Bodhisattva completely remembers all those questions in an instant, a moment, a short time, and utters a single

Through speech, they comprehend all of these. It extensively fills even the spaces between unspeakable and unutterable realms, and teaches the Dharma according to the thoughts, faculties, and inclinations of sentient beings. When engaging in Dharma discussions, they also receive the blessings of the Tathagatas. Although all beings are closely attended to by all the deeds of the Buddhas, the grasping of such wisdom-light is fully initiated. If in a single pore at the tip of a hair, there dwell as many Tathagatas as there are extremely fine particles in unspeakable realms, and they teach the Dharma in the mandala of retinues that have become immeasurable in number, then each of those Tathagatas also teaches various different aspects of the Dharma to that many immeasurable sentient beings. In each and every mindstream of sentient beings, they also accomplish immeasurable Dharma practices, becoming extremely well accomplished. Just as with one Tathagata, so it is in all the mandalas of retinues of all the Tathagatas. Just as it is in a single pore at the tip of a hair, so it is in all the realms of Dharma, yet if one can encompass all of these, what need is there to mention the sentient beings of that many realms? Thus, a Bodhisattva who has attained this excellent wisdom of the Bodhisattva grounds, without any other thoughts day and night, enters into the sphere of activity of the Buddhas, excellently attains companionship with the Tathagatas, and excellently attains the profound liberation of the Bodhisattvas. Possessing such wisdom, even while abiding in equipoise, they do not completely abandon seeing the Tathagatas. In each and every kalpa, they also see many Buddhas, and having seen hundreds of thousands of millions of Buddhas, they also perform service, reverence, respect, and offerings. They do not completely abandon the vast activity of seeing Buddhas and making offerings. They make complete requests to those Tathagatas, and it arises excellently from the teaching of the Dharma dharanis. Those roots of virtue will become even more purified and unseizable than before. O King!
