Like the light of a beneficial moon, understanding all sounds as melodies with a peaceful mind, and expressing hundreds of sounds according to their respective languages. To those sentient beings who are of weak intellect and narrow mind, demonstrate the conduct of the foremost of the wise, the Shravakas. To those sentient beings who are sharp-minded and strive for the Pratyekabuddha vehicle, reveal the wisdom of the immaculate Pratyekabuddha vehicle. To those sentient beings who are altruistic, compassionate, and loving, also demonstrate the supreme conduct of the Bodhisattvas. To those sentient beings who are of supreme intellect and devoted to the sacred mind, the wise ones reveal the immeasurable Buddha bodies. Just as a magician shows illusions to beings, the numerous emanations are diverse, but those are not real. Similarly, the wise Bodhisattva is skilled in the illusion of wisdom, although demonstrating all conduct, those are also not real. After chanting hundreds of thousands of such sounds into pleasant melodies, the celestial maiden remains silent, admiring the Victor with a peaceful mind. The retinue, with joyful hearts, spoke again to the son of the Sugata: Please further explain the practices of the sacred Dharma beyond the eighth stage. The Bodhisattva Vajragarbha said: O sons of the Victor! Thus, the Bodhisattva who abides on the eighth Bodhisattva ground, having analyzed with such immeasurable wisdom-knowledge, from then on, inclines more towards peaceful liberation, and from then on, cultivates the Tathagata's perfect wisdom, engages in following the teachings spoken by the Tathagata, distinguishes the inconceivable qualities of wisdom, purifies the distinctions of Dharani and Samadhi, accomplishes vast Abhijna, comprehends the distinctions of the world realms, cultivates the Tathagata's powers, fearlessnesses, and unshared Buddha-dharmas, never regressing, turns the wheel of the Tathagata's Dharma, follows the power of rescuing beings, and does not abandon the power of great compassion, thereby completely subduing the ninth Bodhisattva ground, this is the Bodhisattva's

When abiding in this, one thoroughly knows, as it is, the wholesome, the unwholesome, and the unspecified dharmas. One thoroughly knows, as it is, the dharmas with outflows and without outflows, the mundane and the supramundane dharmas, the dharmas with thought and without thought, the definite and the indefinite dharmas, the dharmas of the hearers and the solitary realizers, the dharmas of the conduct of bodhisattvas, the dharmas of the ground of the tathāgatas, the conditioned dharmas, and the unconditioned dharmas. With the intelligence that comprehends what is to be known in such a way, one thoroughly knows, as it is, the dense flow of the minds of sentient beings, namely, the dense flow of afflictions, the dense flow of karma, the dense flow of faculties, the dense flow of faith, the dense flow of realms, the dense flow of thoughts and latent tendencies, the dense flow of birth, the dense flow of the connection of habitual patterns, and the dense flow of the transformation of the three aggregates. One thoroughly knows, as it is, the various differences in the minds of sentient beings, namely, minds of various kinds, minds that change and perish quickly in an instant and those that do not perish, minds that are without bodies, minds that are infinite and have power over everything, minds that are clear and gentle, minds that are accompanied by afflictions and those that are without afflictions, minds that are bound and those that are liberated, minds that are manifested like illusions, minds that abide closely in the stream of beings as they should, and so on, one thoroughly knows, as it is, up to thousands of kinds of minds. One thoroughly knows, as it is, that the afflictions have long since passed away, namely, those that arise together with limitless effort and are undifferentiated, as well as the latent tendencies and the single place of all cyclic existence.
