enters into the immeasurable teachings that are extremely vast. He thinks thus: 'The sphere of activity of the Tathāgatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas, is so immeasurable. It is difficult to count even with hundreds of thousands of kotis of kalpas, thousands of thousands of kotis of kalpas, hundreds of thousands of thousands of kotis of kalpas, and so many hundreds of thousands of kotis of billions of kalpas. I must accomplish the sphere of activity of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. I must perfect it without conceptualization and without complete conceptualization.' Thus, he is endowed with the wisdom of such extreme examination and with clairvoyance, and constantly and continuously strives manifestly. He abides completely in the wisdom of the great accumulation of the path, which is completely cultivated by skillful means and wisdom, in an unwavering manner. He does not rise from the manifest accomplishment of the path even for a single moment. Even when he walks, he is manifestly accomplishing such wisdom. Even when standing, sitting, lying down, and in dreams, there is no obscuration, and even when abiding in all activities, he is inseparable from the attention to such wisdom. With each of his mind-generations, he perfectly accomplishes the ten perfections of the Bodhisattva and the ten grounds of the Bodhisattva. Why is that? Because, each time that Bodhisattva, the great being, generates a mind of awakening preceded by great compassion, he dedicates it to the perfect accomplishment of the Buddhadharma and to the meaning of the wisdom of the Tathāgata. Therefore, whatever seeks the complete wisdom of the Buddha and completely bestows the roots of virtue upon sentient beings, this is his perfection of generosity. Whatever completely pacifies all the torments of afflictions, this is his perfection of ethics. Whatever is preceded by compassion and love and has no harm for all sentient beings, this is his perfection of patience. Whatever vows to seek higher and higher virtuous dharmas without being satisfied, this is his perfection of diligence. Whatever manifests the wisdom of omniscience

Therefore. This, possessing the path of no regret, is his perfection of meditation. Whatever is manifested as unoriginated by nature, this is his perfection of wisdom. Whatever accomplishes immeasurable wisdom, this is his perfection of skillful means. Whatever is aimed at wisdom from above and accomplished, this is his perfection of aspiration. Whatever path is not cut off by all external adversaries and all assemblies of demons, this is his perfection of power. Whatever thoroughly understands all dharmas as they truly are, this is his perfection of wisdom. O sons of the Victorious Ones! Thus, the ten perfections of the Bodhisattva who dwells on this long-gone Bodhisattva ground will be completely fulfilled. The four objects of gathering will also be completely fulfilled. The ten blessings, the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, the three doors of liberation, and in short, all the dharmas of the limbs of enlightenment will be completely fulfilled in an instant. Having said this, the Bodhisattva Liberation Moon said to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Vajragarbha: O sons of the Victorious Ones! Is it only the Bodhisattva who dwells on this seventh Bodhisattva ground that all the limbs of enlightenment are completely fulfilled in an instant? Or is it not so, and all ten grounds are also completely fulfilled in the same way? The Bodhisattva Vajragarbha said: O sons of the Victorious Ones! On all ten grounds, the limbs of enlightenment of the Bodhisattva are seen to be completely fulfilled in an instant. However, on this seventh Bodhisattva ground, it will be even more completely fulfilled than those. Why is that? O sons of the Victorious Ones! This Bodhisattva ground is that which completely accomplishes the practice of diligence, completely suppresses the practice of wisdom and superknowledge. Thus, O sons of the Victorious Ones! On the first Bodhisattva ground,

By focusing especially on all aspirations, all the limbs of enlightenment of the Bodhisattva will be completely fulfilled. Secondly, by eliminating all defilements of the mind; thirdly, by increasing aspirations and obtaining the appearance of Dharma; fourthly, by entering the path; fifthly, by following the actions of the world; sixthly, by entering the gate of profound Dharma, all the limbs of enlightenment will be completely fulfilled. Therefore, in this seventh ground Bodhisattva, because all the Buddha's Dharmas are completely accomplished, the limbs of enlightenment will be completely accomplished in an instant. What is the reason for this? From the first ground of the Bodhisattva up to the seventh ground of the Bodhisattva, the wisdom realized by the Bodhisattva, the limbs of practice for realization, all of those will be naturally accomplished up to the eighth ground of the Bodhisattva. O sons of the Victorious Ones! For example, between a world that is completely afflicted and completely pure, and the two worlds of an extremely pure world, one cannot freely transcend without aspiration, means, wisdom, the power of superknowledge, and great strength. O sons of the Victorious Ones! Likewise, between the mixed conduct and the completely pure conduct of a Bodhisattva, one cannot freely transcend without aspiration, means, wisdom, superknowledge, the power of wisdom, and great strength. The Bodhisattva Liberation Moon said: O sons of the Victorious Ones, then, for the seven grounds of Bodhisattvas, should one believe that the conduct of the Bodhisattva is completely defiled by the conduct of affliction? The Bodhisattva Vajragarbha said: O sons of the Victorious Ones! From the first ground of the Bodhisattva, the Joyful One, up to (the seventh ground), because all the actions of the Bodhisattva are completely dedicated to enlightenment, one should believe in the path of equality in a manner that is appropriate to being free from the defilements of affliction. Just by this, one can completely transcend the afflicted conduct in the seven grounds.
