It is extremely sharp and extremely increasing. Thus, when this Bodhisattva dwells in this manifest ground, through the power of his vast view and aspiration, many Buddhas will appear. Through the vast view and the power of aspiration, hundreds of thousands of Buddhas, thousands of thousands of Buddhas, hundreds of thousands of Buddhas, hundreds of thousands of millions of Buddhas, millions of millions of Buddhas, hundreds of millions of millions of Buddhas, thousands of millions of millions of Buddhas, hundreds of thousands of millions of millions of Buddhas, and hundreds of millions of millions of millions of Buddhas will appear. Having seen those Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas, he makes offerings with a vast mind, respects, honors, and worships. He also offers robes, alms, bedding, medicine and utensils for sickness, and all the means of comfort for the Bodhisattva. And he also makes proper offerings to the Sangha, and dedicates those roots of virtue to the unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment. He attends to and reveres those Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas, and with reverence and respect, diligently listens to and receives the Dharma, and upholds it. Having heard it, he also enters into samadhi as it is, and strives diligently with the light of wisdom and intelligence, and by diligently upholding it, he obtains the treasury of the Tathagata's Dharma even more than before. Thus, when this Bodhisattva dwells in this manifest ground, those roots of virtue also become more purified and more luminous than before, and continue to exist for countless kalpas, hundreds of thousands of kalpas, thousands of thousands of kalpas, hundreds of thousands of kalpas, hundreds of thousands of millions of kalpas, millions of millions of kalpas, hundreds of millions of millions of kalpas, thousands of millions of millions of kalpas, hundreds of thousands of millions of millions of kalpas, and hundreds of millions of millions of millions of kalpas.

O sons of the Victorious Ones, just as a golden sālasphura, when inlaid with vaidurya, becomes even more radiant, luminous, and clear than before, so too, O sons of the Victorious Ones, the roots of virtue of a bodhisattva abiding in this manifest ground of a bodhisattva, when thoroughly examined by wisdom and knowledge, become even more pure, luminous, and clear than before, and because they are increasingly peaceful, they will not be stolen away. O sons of the Victorious Ones, just as the light of the moon cools the bodies of sentient beings and is not stolen away by the four great wind circles, so too, O sons of the Victorious Ones, the roots of virtue of a bodhisattva mahāsattva abiding in this manifest ground of a bodhisattva, more than before, pacify and cool the burning afflictions in the minds of many sentient beings, and are not stolen away by the four streams of the paths of Māra. Of the ten perfections, the perfection of wisdom is the greater part, but the others are also practiced as much as possible. O sons of the Victorious Ones, this is called the manifest ground of a bodhisattva, the sixth ground of a bodhisattva. A bodhisattva abiding in this ground mostly becomes the king of the Paranirmitavasavartin gods, skilled and powerful in pacifying the excessive pride of all sentient beings. He is not stolen away by the questions of all listeners. Whether it is giving, kind speech, beneficial action, or consistent action, whatever root of virtue he undertakes, he thinks, "How can all of this become the most excellent, the most chief, the most superior, the most distinguished, the most sacred, the most supreme, the most guiding, the most completely guiding of all sentient beings, up to relying on omniscient wisdom?" He remembers the Buddha, remembers the Dharma, remembers the Sangha, remembers the bodhisattvas, remembers the conduct of the bodhisattvas, remembers the ground of the bodhisattvas, remembers the perfections, remembers the powers, and remembers the fearlessnesses.
