"The cessation of formations" refers to the view of annihilation, and the rest are the same. Furthermore, in this way, the twelve links of dependent origination cause three kinds of suffering. Among them, ignorance, formations, consciousness, name, form, and the six sense bases are called the suffering of formations. Contact and feeling are called the suffering of suffering. Craving, grasping, existence, and birth up to aging and death are called the suffering of change. The cessation of ignorance leads to the cessation of formations, which refers to the cessation of the three sufferings. Knowing formations through the condition of ignorance means that formations arise from causes and conditions, and the rest are the same. The cessation of ignorance leads to the cessation of formations, which means that formations do not exist, and the rest are the same. Knowing formations through the condition of ignorance means that birth is interconnected, and the rest are the same. The cessation of ignorance leads to the cessation of formations, which means that destruction is interconnected, and the rest are the same. Knowing formations through the condition of ignorance means examining in accordance with the process of existence, and the rest are the same. The cessation of ignorance leads to the cessation of formations, which means examining in accordance with the process of cessation and destruction, and the rest are the same. Thus, dependent origination is thoroughly examined in terms of accordance and discordance. In this way, the links of existence are interconnected, the mind is completely gathered together, one's own actions are not mixed up, there is no deliberate action, following the order of the three paths, looking at the past and the present, and looking at the future, the three sufferings arise, arising from causes and conditions, birth and death are interconnected, conforming to the process of existence, and thoroughly contemplating becoming exhausted. Therefore, dependent origination is thoroughly examined in ten ways: as selfless, lifeless, without a person, empty of essence, and without a self-existent agent.

When I fully realize without a perceiver, the gate of liberation of emptiness arises. Because the nature of these branches of existence ceases and is very close to liberation, no characteristic of any dharma arises, and thus the gate of liberation of the signless arises. Thus, as he enters emptiness and signlessness, he puts great compassion first, and no desire arises except to fully ripen all sentient beings, and thus the gate of liberation of the wishless arises. By meditating on these three gates of liberation, he is free from the notion of self and others, free from the notion of agent and perceiver, and free from the notion of existence and non-existence. In order to perfect the unperfected limbs of enlightenment, he puts great compassion first and makes even greater effort. He thinks like this: With accumulation, conditioned things will increase. Without accumulation, there is no increase. With causes and conditions, conditioned actions will increase. Without causes and conditions, there is no increase. Therefore, I have come to know that such conditioned things have many faults, and I must cut off these accumulations and causes and conditions. In order to fully ripen sentient beings, I should not manifest the perfect peace of conditioned things. O sons of the Victorious Ones, in this way, the aspect of conditioned things, with so many faults, realizing that it is without essence and nature, without birth and without cessation, and greatly cultivating great compassion, and not abandoning sentient beings, abiding in the Prajnaparamita called manifest wisdom without attachment, will become manifest in the manner of appearance. He, endowed with such wisdom and abiding in the Prajnaparamita, having become apparent, also draws near and truly accumulates the conditions for fully gathering the limbs of enlightenment, and does not abide in association with conditioned things. He also fully realizes that all conditioned things are naturally peaceful. However, for the sake of the limbs of enlightenment that have not yet been perfected

Furthermore, not abiding in that, when this Bodhisattva abides in this manifest Bodhisattva ground, then a Samadhi called Entering Emptiness will arise. The Samadhi of self-nature emptiness, ultimate emptiness, great emptiness, aggregation emptiness, manifest realization emptiness, emptiness of truly non-conceptualization, dependent emptiness, difference and non-difference emptiness will also arise. Thus, hundreds of thousands and tens of thousands of Samadhis of the door of emptiness and so on will become manifest to him. Similarly, hundreds of thousands and tens of thousands of Samadhis of the door of signlessness and hundreds of thousands and tens of thousands of Samadhis of the door of wishlessness will become manifest. Thus, the Bodhisattva abiding in this manifest Bodhisattva ground obtains the complete thought of non-receding. He obtains the complete thought of certainty, the thought of virtue, the profound thought, the thought of non-retrogression, the thought of unbroken continuity, the thought of stainlessness, the thought of limitlessness, the thought of manifest devotion to wisdom, and the thought of being endowed with skillful means and wisdom. These ten thoughts of a Bodhisattva follow the enlightenment of the Thus-Gone One. He is non-retrogressing from all opponents. He truly enters the ground of wisdom. He is liberated from the grounds of Hearers and Solitary Buddhas. He is extremely certain about manifesting the wisdom of the Buddha. He is not robbed by all demons and afflictions that wander everywhere. He is extremely abiding in the appearance of a Bodhisattva. He has perfectly cultivated the Dharma of emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness. He is endowed with skillful means, wisdom, and wisdom discernment. He manifests and integrates the Dharma of the aspects of enlightenment. Thus, when he abides in this manifest Bodhisattva ground, he mostly abides in the Perfection of Wisdom. He conforms to those Dharmas in accordance with the Dharma and does not contradict them, it is the third conforming patience.
