When one abides in this, they will obtain excellent intention and pure thought. Faith will arise, and virtuous Dharma will increase. All defilements, turbidity, doubt, and dualistic thoughts will be eliminated. The excellent beings who abide in this, the supreme offspring of the Victorious Ones, will make manifest offerings to countless billions of Sugatas. Listening to the Dharma and teachings will also greatly increase in them. Like gold used as an ornament, it cannot be robbed or overcome. The qualities and thoughts of the wise who abide in this, as well as their wisdom, skillful means, and pure conduct on the path, cannot be reversed by hundreds of millions of demons. Just as the light of a precious jewel cannot be cut off by the wind, those who abide in this are worthy of offerings from humans and gods. They will engage in the supreme Dharma of dualistic mastery. They will turn sentient beings away from the thickets of views. For the sake of the Victorious Ones' wisdom, they will diligently cultivate virtue. Those endowed with diligence, the supreme among humans, will see hundreds of millions of others whose minds are extremely calm and well-established. They will accomplish all excellent aspirations and virtues, benefiting beings, and manifest enlightenment in many eons, the source of wisdom. Thus, this is the fourth supreme ground, pure and possessing pure conduct, endowed with qualities and wisdom, taught by the sons of the Sugatas. It is called the Radiant Flame of Wisdom, the fourth ground of Bodhisattvas. ||The Sutra of the Buddha's Marvelous Skillful Means, the Greatly Expanded, Volume Sixteen. Having heard of the excellent conduct of the wise, the sons of the Victorious Ones are pleased and delighted with the knowledge of the Dharma. With joyful minds, they rain down flowers from the sky. The great Sugata's son, whose nature is vast, is called Good. The lord of the gods, the powerful one, and all the hosts of gods, joyfully rise into the sky to worship the Sugata. They scatter various beautiful flowers, great clouds, lovely in color and pleasing to the mind, with joy and faith, making manifest offerings to the Sugata. Beautiful and pleasing songs, the sound of cymbals and drums, are made by the many hosts of gods for the purpose of worshiping the Victorious One. At that time, the Victorious One shows a body of great transformation. Such a sound arises from all kinds of sounds. The Long-lasting Supreme One's intention is completely fulfilled and attained. The Long-lasting Supreme One has attained unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. The Long-lasting Supreme One sees the benefit of gods and humans. Shakyamuni goes to the abodes of all the gods. The Long-lasting Supreme One.

The water of the sea also shook. Long-lasting and supreme, the light was emitted by the capable one. Long-lasting and supreme, sentient beings became happy. The words of great compassion were heard by the long-lasting and supreme one. The long-lasting and supreme one met with the great capable one. The ultimate of all qualities has now appeared. Having abandoned all darkness of pride and arrogance, Make offerings to the incomparable one worthy of offerings. By making offerings to him, one goes on the path of happy migrations. By making offerings to him, there are many kinds of happiness. By making offerings to him, all suffering is eliminated. By making offerings to him, one obtains the wisdom of the victorious ones. The victorious ones are completely pure like the sky, Like lotus water that does not stain beings. Extremely sublime, like Mount Meru in the ocean, With a joyful heart, make offerings to the victorious ones! After singing and reciting these words, Hundreds of thousands of goddesses, With increasing joy, gazed intently. With great joy, they served. Then, to Vajragarbha, Vimoksha Chandra said: What is the appearance of the fifth bhumi? Please explain, O son of the Victorious One! The Bodhisattva Vajragarbha said: O sons of the Victorious Ones! Thus, when a Bodhisattva has completely perfected the path of the bhumis on the fourth Bodhisattva bhumi, he enters the fifth Bodhisattva bhumi. He enters through ten equalities of purity of mind's intention. What are the ten? They are as follows: with the Dharma of the past Buddhas, purity of intention is equal; with the Dharma of the future Buddhas, purity of intention is equal; with the Dharma of the Buddhas appearing in the present, purity of intention is equal; with morality, purity of intention is equal; with mind, purity of intention is equal; having abandoned views, hesitation, and doubt, purity of intention is equal; knowing the path and non-path, purity of intention is equal; knowing diligence and abandonment, purity of intention is equal; cultivating all aspects of enlightenment from higher to higher, purity of intention is equal; by fully ripening all sentient beings, purity of intention is equal. O sons of the Victorious Ones! With these ten purities of mind's intention, one enters into that. O sons of the Victorious Ones!

The Bodhisattva who has attained the fifth Bodhisattva ground has diligently trained in the aspects of enlightenment and the limbs of the path, and has diligently trained in higher intention. Therefore, before that, he seeks the distinctions of the path and follows Suchness, and with the power of aspiration, vigor, compassion, and love, he does not abandon all sentient beings, accumulates the accumulations of merit and wisdom, and is completely without interruption. He accomplishes manifest realization through skillful means, sees the appearances of higher and higher grounds, seeks the blessings of the Tathagata, and with mindfulness, intelligence, discernment, the power of intelligence, and vigor, he is irreversible for the sake of mental activity. Thus, he thoroughly knows as it is: This is the noble truth of suffering. This is the origin of suffering. This is the cessation of suffering. This is the noble truth of the path leading to the cessation of suffering. Thus, he thoroughly knows that he is skilled in the conventional truth. He is skilled in the ultimate truth. He is skilled in the truth of characteristics. He is skilled in the truth of distinctions. He is skilled in the truth of examination. He is skilled in the truth of objects. He is skilled in the truth of arising. He is skilled in the truth of non-arising. He is skilled in the truth of entering the wisdom of the path. Because the order of connecting the Bodhisattva grounds should be accomplished, he is skilled up to the correct arising of the Tathagata's wisdom. Because he makes other sentient beings and individuals very happy as they wish, he also completely knows the conventional truth. Because he correctly focuses on the One Vehicle, he also completely knows the ultimate truth. Because he understands the self-nature of phenomena, he also completely knows the truth of characteristics. Because he understands the distinctions of phenomena, he also completely knows the truth of distinctions. Because he distinguishes the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, he also completely knows the truth of examination. Because the body and mind experience harm, he also completely knows the truth of objects. Because he connects the continuum of beings, he is skilled in the truth of arising.
