Recognizing that the body has no essence, the mind of taking essence arises, remembering and contemplating the body that is about to decay. Thoroughly realizing that this body will be devoured by wolves, foxes, and dogs, and contemplating that the body is dependent on others and impermanent. Fully understanding the causes of the body, and striving to keep in mind the mind of trust in others and similar dharmas. How then does the Bodhisattva give perfectly? King Sdigpa Bstsalba (King Eliminating Sins) and countless other Bodhisattvas and great Bodhisattvas also gave away intestines, livers, kidneys, and lungs to the beggars. When intestines, livers, kidneys, and lungs are thus given away, the Bodhisattva looks at those beggars with unblinking eyes and generates this thought: 'Since my body is so impermanent and impure, then things like intestines, livers, kidneys, and lungs should also be given as charity according to the needs of the beggars.' Thus contemplating, with a joyful mind, and with the thought of knowing the nature of dharma and the blessing of recognizing the beggars as virtuous friends, desiring to take essence from this body without essence. When giving away intestines, livers, kidneys, and lungs with such contemplation and a mind endowed with complete understanding, dedicate those roots of virtue to all sentient beings in this way: 'By this root of virtue perfectly accumulated by giving away intestines, livers, kidneys, and lungs, may all sentient beings possess a body of wisdom essence, and may the inside and outside of the body be extremely pure and clean. May all sentient beings be perfectly endowed with a belly of wisdom in order to perfectly grasp the aspiration of all-knowingness. May all sentient beings possess all the best internal fragrances and radiate intense light from the outside, thus possessing a beautiful body. May all sentient beings gradually incline towards possessing symmetrical body limbs and become a body with a bow-shaped belly. May all sentient beings' bodies be filled with the joy of the Buddha's dharma.'

Through arising, may the body be nourished by the food of Dharma and wisdom. May all sentient beings, through truly practicing with a body of joy and a Dharma body, thereby possess an inexhaustible body. May all sentient beings possess the light of Dharma that truly knows differences, thereby completely purifying the inside of the body with the essence of the dharani. May all sentient beings have their inner mental continuum extremely subdued, thereby possessing a completely pure body. May all sentient beings rain down the rain of Dharma clouds that satisfy with wisdom, thereby comprehending the body of the Tathagata and the yoga of wisdom. May all sentient beings have their external body, for all beings, the victory banner of wisdom beautiful and manifest, thereby the inner body being pure and peaceful. Thus, when the Bodhisattva Mahasattva completely gives away the intestines, liver, kidneys, lungs, etc., from his own body to those who ask for them, in order to make these roots of virtue completely purify the bodies of all sentient beings inside and out, and to obtain the attainment of dwelling in unobstructed wisdom, he completely dedicates them. In this way, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, like the Bodhisattva Dharma Source, King Starlight, and other non-Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, when they give away limbs, minor limbs, and bones to those who ask for them, when limbs, minor limbs, and bones are requested, at the time of giving to those who ask, as soon as they see the one who asks, joy arises in their hearts, as well as faith, confidence, extreme joy, satisfaction, a heart of loving-kindness, a heart without attachment, a pure heart, and they extremely obtain the mind to serve those who ask. When they ask for limbs, minor limbs, and bones, at the time of giving to those who ask, they completely dedicate these roots of virtue to all sentient beings in this way: with these roots of virtue that are truly accumulated by completely giving away one's own body's limbs, minor limbs, and bones, may all sentient beings possess bodies without bones, flesh, and blood, and become like bodies of illusion. May all sentient beings be able to on the body
