Thus dedicate. May all sentient beings, due to the suffering caused by others' harm, be extremely not deprived of body and life. May all sentient beings obtain the position of being prophesied with the ten powers of omniscient enlightenment from all Buddhas. May all sentient beings completely escape from the path of all evil destinies, and be completely liberated from all fears. May all sentient beings enter the realm of immortal wisdom, thereby obtaining all opportunities for survival. May all sentient beings be completely held by the virtuous friend, the Tathagata, thereby being separated from all fears of enemies. May all sentient beings, by practicing all faultless virtuous deeds, transcend all discomforts like being cut by a sword. May all sentient beings go to the foot of the sacred Bodhi tree, without fear, all the hosts of demons are scattered, thereby being separated from all panic, fear, and fright. May all sentient beings be completely purified by the fearlessness of the supreme Dharma, and utter a lion's roar, thereby being separated from the fear of retinues and all panic. May all sentient beings properly practice faultless deeds, and among all beings, become a lion endowed with unobstructed wisdom. May all sentient beings possess the mind of completely protecting all beings, and enter the house of fearlessness for all beings. Those who are killed in this way, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva gives up his own body and life, redeems them, and dedicates these roots of virtue to all sentient beings, in order to abandon all the sufferings of the prison of samsara and not abandon the happiness of all Buddhas. Furthermore, if a Bodhisattva Mahasattva is asked for the crest jewel and hair knot from his head, like the precious jewel on the head of a king, the supreme limbs of a Bodhisattva are extremely superior, and just as other non-Bodhisattvas give, when he sees those who ask, with words of joy in giving, he takes the hair knot and crest jewel and goes.

Thus, that powerful one said, "Come, take the topknot and braids from my head." Thus, the Bodhisattva in Jambudvipa, that supreme renunciate, with single-pointed concentration, without distraction, without contamination, with a mind not thinking of other matters, with a transcendent mind, a peaceful mind, a mind of omniscience, a pure mind, an upright mind, a mind diligent in reason, at the time of giving away the topknot and braids, touched the topknot and braids with a sword, took them from the head, placed the right knee on the ground, with a reverent body, joined the palms of the ten fingers, remembering the Bodhi conduct of all Buddhas of the past, future, and present, generating joyfully increasing superior intention, with a mind filled with Dharma, with a mind unshaken by painful feelings, the characteristic of the arising of painful feelings, and understanding various differences, the transmission from one feeling to another, all these are not conceived. Thus, knowing well, the Bodhisattva at all times of the past, future, and present, and with the mind of giving in a continuous manner, all minds arise in omniscience, without regression, obtained through the aspect of the Bodhisattva's conduct of superior intention, not relying on others, abiding in the Dharma taught by the virtuous friend, taking the topknot and braids from the head, at the time of complete giving, thus dedicates this root of virtue: May all sentient beings become the crest jewel stupa of the Bodhisattva, may the crest not appear. May the hair of all sentient beings be extremely fine, cutting off all defilements, may the hair be like the supreme black vajra jewel. May the hair of all sentient beings be thick, with a beautiful hairline, and may the hair be lustrous. May all sentient beings be endowed with extremely soft hair born from a perfectly good head.

May all sentient beings have hair that curls to the right like a joyful swirl, and may they possess glorious and auspicious hair. May all sentient beings be completely free from afflictions and near afflictions, and may they obtain hair that possesses the name of the Buddha. May all sentient beings, all beings in the ten directions of the world, universally radiate rays of light from their own hair. May all sentient beings have hair that is extremely beautiful, like the perfectly pure head of the Buddha. May all sentient beings have equanimity of mind, and may they possess hair that is as beautiful as the Buddha's hair and head, and may they possess hair that is worthy of being placed on the crown of the head as a stupa. May all sentient beings grow beautiful, unentangled hair like the head of the Buddha, and may they possess hair that is free from darkness and dust. Thus, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, having completely relinquished the topknot and braids, dedicates these roots of virtue, which are rightly upheld, so that all sentient beings may perfect a mind that is as peaceful as the earth, and so that they may reach the limit of the ten powers of omniscient wisdom. Likewise, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, for those who beg, just as the Bodhisattva performs joyful deeds, and King Moonlight and other immeasurable Bodhisattvas, with a mind that is completely purified by the eye of giving, and with wisdom that is completely purified by the eye of wisdom, and with a mind that has attained the manifestation of the excellent Dharma, and with the aspect of mind that has manifested the unsurpassed Buddha, and with the dedication that reaches the limit of all superknowledges, and with a mind that is rightly given to the source of wisdom, and with the generosity that is made equal to the Bodhisattvas of the three times, and with the mind of giving, and with the power of unwavering faith from an eye without hatred, and with a mind that benefits those who beg, and with the great vehicle of the Bodhisattva, turning to the eye of the Buddha, and with love and compassion fully cultivated, and with the six senses extremely subdued, just as he gave his eyes to those who beg, so too, he completely gives his eyes and with the Dharma.
