How, in this way, may all these beings attain supreme happiness, the happiness that is beneficial, the happiness without sensation, the happiness of peace, the happiness that does not abide, the happiness that does not move, the immeasurable happiness, the happiness that does not diminish, the happiness that does not cease, and the happiness of omniscience. In this way, may those roots of virtue be fully dedicated. May I be the helmsman, may I be the protector, may I be the holder of the lamp, may I be the one who shows the path of happiness, may I be the one who finds leisure, may I be skilled in means, may I be the one who knows the meaning, may I be the captain of the great ship of omniscience in the ocean of samsara, may I be skilled in dedication, may I be the one who shows the other shore, may these roots of virtue in this way become the refuge of beings, and may they completely transcend samsara, and may they please all the Tathagatas, and may they be without obscuration in omniscience, and may they not abide in the realms of Mara, and may they completely abandon all sinful and unwholesome friends, and may they rely on all virtuous friends, Bodhisattvas, and may they be without fault in purified actions, and may they perfectly accomplish the aspirations of great conduct, and may they master all roots of virtue, in this way, may they be fully dedicated. Then, when a Bodhisattva dedicates these roots of virtue, they should generate this thought: Alas! For the sake of illuminating the world of the four continents, in the world of the four continents, as many beings as there are, so many suns do not rise, but for the sake of illuminating the four continents, this one sun rises. Those beings belonging to the four continents, from their own bodies, by what light can they know the number of suns, or accomplish their own benefit, or fully ripen the crops, or day by day rejoice in the gardens of edible trees and cities, and experience the enjoyment of play, or illuminate the directions, or villages and cities and...

There will be no appearance of going to and coming from the palace retinue and the king's residence, or of associating with actions. Those sentient beings also do not emit such light from their own bodies, which is enough to accomplish their affairs. Just as the son of the gods, the wheel of the sun, the only one without a second, appears and arises in order to appear to sentient beings in the realm of the four continents. Similarly, when a Bodhisattva dedicates the roots of virtue, this thought arises: If these sentient beings do not even have what can completely protect themselves, what need is there to protect others? Because oneself is the only one without a second, for the sake of all sentient beings, like this, liberate all sentient beings, illuminate all sentient beings, make all sentient beings bright, understand all sentient beings, take all sentient beings, gather all sentient beings, generate all sentient beings, make all sentient beings believe, satisfy all sentient beings, and in order to cut off the doubts of all sentient beings, truly accumulate the roots of virtue, and completely dedicate the roots of virtue. I should Be like the wheel of the sun, not expecting a return of benefit from others, not letting others find an opportunity, not abandoning armor for the sake of all sentient beings, not withdrawing joy for the benefit of all sentient beings, and not retreating from the dedication to accomplish the happiness of all sentient beings. Also accumulate small roots of virtue, and dedicate and rejoice with small dedications. Roots of virtue that do not become beneficial are not dedicated to sentient beings. In any case, dedicate them in such a way that those roots of virtue become the happiness of all sentient beings. Relying on the Dharma nature of non-attachment, make the dedication. Dedicate to the nature of sentient beings, this is not abiding in the dedication in the manner of transformation, because there is strong attachment to existence, so it does not abide in those roots of virtue.

One does not dedicate those roots of virtue in the manner of "I." Because of manifest attachment to things, one does not fully contemplate the maturation of karma. One does not abide in the perceptions of the aggregates, nor does one dedicate. One does not abide in the destruction of the aggregates, nor does one dedicate. One does not abide in the discrimination of karma, nor does one dedicate. It is not with hope for the ripening. It is not complacent with reliance. It is not with complete thought about dependent arising. It is not abiding in fame. It is not abiding in the perceptions of places. It is not abiding in the discrimination of places. It is not abiding in the discrimination of dharmas. It is not abiding in the perception of sentient beings, because following the distinct modes of the elements, one does not dedicate. Abiding in the complete thought of the mind, one does not dedicate. Abiding in the perversion of the mind, one does not dedicate. Abiding in the perversion of perception, one does not dedicate. Abiding in the perversion of view, one does not dedicate. Abiding in the path of speech, one does not dedicate. Therefore, in this way, one dedicates by discerning dharmas as they are. One dedicates by thinking of the equality of sentient beings. One dedicates those roots of virtue sealed by the realm of dharma. One dedicates those roots of virtue fully examined by the dharma that is equal to detachment. One realizes those roots of virtue without imputation to all dharmas. One engages in those dedications by truly seeing and dedicating in the realm of non-duality, without causing any dharma to arise or cease. Likewise, one dedicates those roots of virtue, and one truly practices those dedications with complete purification by antidotes. Seeing those roots of virtue that follow the transcendent and boundless, one does not comprehend all those roots of virtue with the nature of duality. One does not truly practice omniscience through karma. One does not dedicate omniscience to anything other than karma. One does not truly see what karma is and dedicate it to omniscience. In the path of karma,
