Some boundless lands appear in the shapes of various names. These and others, which greatly show the form of the world, are as numerous as the extremely fine dust of the ocean of worlds. Then, the Bodhisattva Samantabhadra, in order to fully show the shape of the ocean of worlds, looked in ten directions with the blessing of the Buddha. At that time, he spoke these verses: Look at the various ocean lands, various manifestations abide in boundless shapes, various distinctions are made by shapes, from all directions the lands appear as oceans. Some are round, some are triangular, some abide in square directions. Jewels, lotuses, the eight branches of the wheel, all actions are depicted by the ocean. Holding the shape and manner of dustless light, made of gold, manifesting various kinds, running and entering from countless doors, the ocean of actions abides in pure thought. The ocean of lands has various essences, just as clouds abide in the sky. Those are many jewels and manifest various kinds, in all of those, the Buddhas are extremely beautiful. All these lands are contemplated by the mind, abiding in all with various ornaments and appearances, with various transformations and others, the ocean of lands shows the Buddhas. Experiencing happiness and suffering, purity and affliction as they are, this Dharma nature is always present, thus the ocean of actions is inconceivable. On the tip of a single hair there are inconceivable things, all abide in the various shapes of dustlessness, everywhere abide the Buddhas who manifest everything, in the ocean-like retinue they fully proclaim the Dharma. On the tip of a single dust mote there are minute and vast ones, all are endowed with all the colors like dust motes, all colors and shapes are observed, in all of those, the wheel of the Victorious One turns. Showing the lands fully on all the dust motes, those are the various transformations of wishes, transformed by karma in the space of the sky, observed by various minds and thoughts, all beings are equal, on all the dust motes, the Buddhas transform various emanations.
