said: Great kings, you may now depart. Then the four great kings arose, prostrated to the Blessed One, circumambulated him, and disappeared from there. Those yakshas also arose, and those who prostrated to the Blessed One and circumambulated him, immediately disappeared. Those who inquired about the Blessed One's health, and after inquiring, asked about what is essential and non-essential, those also immediately disappeared. Those who folded their palms towards where the Blessed One was, also immediately disappeared. Some distinguished names and lineages, and then immediately disappeared. Some remained silent and immediately disappeared. The first chapter, the Excellent Chapter, from the Sutra of the Willow Palace, is complete. Then again, after that night had passed, the Blessed One called the monks and said: Monks, tonight the four great kings, and the great leaders of the yaksha hosts, and many hosts of gandharvas, and many hosts of Kumbhāṇḍas, and many hosts of nāgas, protect and abide in the four directions. They protect the four directions, abiding separately in each direction. They guard and abide in the four directions. The night came, and with various colors, made the Vulture Peak Mountain entirely visible, and went to where the Blessed One was, and having gone, prostrated to me and sat on one side. Monks, some of those yakshas prostrated to me and sat on one side. Some inquired about my health, and after inquiring, asked about the words of what is essential and non-essential, and sat on one side. Some folded their palms to me and sat on one side. Some distinguished names and lineages and sat on one side. Some remained silent and sat on one side. Having sat on one side, monks, the great king Vaishravana said this to me: Some fierce yakshas do not have faith in the venerable Blessed One. Some fierce yakshas have faith in the Blessed One. Some middling yakshas, the venerable Blessed One
