And he taught the Dharma of abstaining from drinking grain alcohol. Those yakshas did not like abstaining from killing, did not like abstaining from taking what is not given, did not like abstaining from sexual misconduct, did not like abstaining from false speech, and did not like abstaining from intoxicating grain alcohol, so they disliked and were unwilling to do these things. The venerable Bhagavan and all the Shravaka disciples entered the solitary forest, relying on sleep and meditation. There was no sound, no music, it was quiet and undisturbed, without the disturbance of noise. The individual practitioners lived there harmoniously. There was the abode of fierce yakshas. If someone does not believe in the teachings of the Bhagavan, in order to make them have faith, one should learn from the venerable Bhagavan, requesting the Willow Palace to protect them. May the monks or nuns, or the male or female lay practitioners, be protected, without concealment and harm, and live in peace and well-being. The Bhagavan granted permission by not speaking. Then, the great King Vaishravana knew that the Bhagavan had granted permission, and at that time he prayed in this way: Please, Willow Palace, protect them! O you who have eyes and are auspicious, I prostrate to the one who sees all! O you who have compassion for all beings, I also prostrate to the one with a topknot! O you who have compassion for the unprotected, I prostrate to the one who protects all! O you who destroy the armies of demons, I prostrate to the one who destroys samsara! O Brahmin, auspicious one, I prostrate to the golden sage! O you who liberate sentient beings, I prostrate to the light protector! Shakya's son is auspicious, I prostrate to the lineage of the sun! Liberating from all suffering, Who excellently teaches the Dharma, Who has become the eye of the world, Who sees everything as it is, They have no falsehood, They are the great fearless ones.

When the sun sets, that becomes night. Where the sun rises, that is called day. The ocean, which is deep, the essence of its water is good. Just as it grows there, like the essence of the ocean's water. Here, to the people of the east, this is declared: That direction is protected by a great king, who is widely renowned. He is the lord of the Gandharvas, named King Dhritarashtra. The Gandharvas and their retinue rejoice with song and dance. His sons are many, their names are uniformly heard as Indra, endowed with power, their number is ninety-one. They have also seen the Buddha, and the Buddha of the solar lineage. To the great one who is free from fear, I prostrate from afar. Wise one, I prostrate to you! Supreme one, I prostrate to you! To the one who always speaks of virtue, non-human beings, I prostrate to you! Always listening to this. Therefore, thus it is declared: Pay homage to the Victorious Gautama! The people born there are not completely possessed. They do not sow seeds, nor do they plow. Without toil, the fruits ripen, and people fully enjoy them.
