ཁ་ལོ་སྒྱུར་བ་བོས་ཏེ། ཤིང་རྟ་ཆས་སུ་ཆུག་ཅིག་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །དེས་ལེགས་སོ་ཞེས་བརྗོད་ཅིང་ཚིག་ཐོས་ནས་ཤིང་རྟ་ཆེན་པོའི་འཁོར་ལོའི་མཆོག་ལ་ཇི་ལྟར་རིགས་པའི་རྒྱན་ཐམས་ཅད་ཀྱིས་བརྒྱན་ནས་ཀུ་མུ་དའི་འདབ་མའི་མདོག་དང་འདྲ་བའི་བཀྲ་ཤིས་པའི་རྟ་བཞིས་ཤིང་རྟ་ཁྲིད་ནས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་གཤེགས་སོ། །ཞེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ལྷའི་གཞལ་མེད་ཁང་བཞིན་དུ་ཤིང་རྟ་ལ་ཞོན་ནས་སྐྱེད་མོས་ཚལ་གྱི་ཕྱོགས་སུ་གཤེགས་སོ། །ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་གཞོན་ནུ་དོན་གྲུབ་ཀྱི་མངོན་པར་རྫོགས་པར་བྱང་ཆུབ་པའི་དུས་ནི་ཉེ་བར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །སྔར་གྱི་མཚན་མ་རྣམས་བལྟ་བར་རིགས་སོ། །ལྷའི་བུ་ཅིག་གིས་རྒས་པ་འཁོགས་པ་སོ་བྱི་བ་སྐྲ་དཀར་བ་སྒུར་བ་རྒྱབ་གྲུམ་པའི་ལུས་ཅན་ལག་ཏུ་འཁར་བ་ཐོགས་པ་སྐད་འཛེར་བར་བྱེད་པ་བསྟན་ནོ། །དེ་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་དང་ཁ་ལོ་སྒྱུར་བས་མཐོང་ངོ་། །དེ་ནས་ བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་ཁ་ལོ་སྒྱུར་བ་ལ་དྲིས་སོ། །སྐྱེས་བུ་འདི་གང་ཞིག་ཡིན། སྐྲ་ཡང་གཞན་དང་མི་འདྲ་བ་ཇི་ལྟ་བུ། གཙོ་བོ་ཆེན་པོའི་མདོ་ནས་བྱུང་བ་བཞིན་འདྲི་བར་བྱའོ། །དེའི་ཚིག་ཐོས་ནས་སྐྱེ་བ་མི་རྟག་ཅིང་སྐྱེས་པར་གྱུར་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་རྒས་པར་འགྱུར་རོ་ཞེས་སེམས་སྡུག་བསྔལ་ཞིང་དེ་ཉིད་དུ་བཟློག་ནས་རང་གི་ཁང་བཟངས་ཉིད་དུ་གཤེགས་སོ། །རྒྱལ་པོས་རྒྱུ་མཚན་ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་བདག་གི་སྲས་པོ་མྱུར་དུ་ལྡོག་པ་ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་དྲིས་སོ། །ལྷ་རྒས་ཤིང་འཁོགས་པའི་མི་གཅིག་མཐོང་བས་རབ་ཏུ་འབྱུང་ངོ་། །མྱུར་དུ་བུ་ལ་གར་བྱེད་པ་རྣམས་སྟ་གོན་གྱིས་ཤིག །ཕུན་སུམ་ཚོགས་པ་ཉམས་སུ་མྱོང་བར་བྱས་པས་རབ་ཏུ་འབྱུང་བ་རྗེས་སུ་དྲན་པར་མི་འགྱུར་རོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་ནས་སྲུང་བར་བྱེད་པ་སྤེལ་ཏེ་ཕྱོགས་ཐམས་ཅད་དུ་རྒྱང་གྲགས་བརྒྱད་བརྒྱད་དུ་བཞག་གོ། །གཞན་ཡང་ཉི་མ་གཅིག་ལ་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་དེ་བཞིན་དུ་སྐྱེད་མོས་ཚལ་དུ་གཤེགས་པ་ན་ལྷས་སྤྲུལ་པའི་ནད་པ་གཅིག་མཐོང་ནས་སྔར་བཞིན་དུ་དྲིས་སོ། །སེམས་སྡུག་བསྔལ་བར་གྱུར་ཏེ་སླར་ཡང་བཟློག་ནས་རང་གི་ཁང་བཟངས་སུ་གཤེགས་སོ། །རྒྱལ་པོས་ཡང་དྲིས་པ་སྔར་དེ་བཞིན་དུ་བྱས་ནས་སླར་ཡང་སྤེལ་ཏེ་ཐམས་ཅད་དུ་རྒྱང་གྲགས་བཅུ་གཉིས་ཀྱི་སའི་ཆར་སྲུང་བར་བྱེད་པ་བཞག་གོ། །ཡང་ཉི་མ་གཞན་ལ་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་དེ་བཞིན་དུ་སྐྱེད་མོས་ཚལ་དུ་གཤེགས་པ་ན་ལྷས་སྤྲུལ་པའི་དུས་ལ་འདས་པ་གཅིག་མཐོང་ནས་སྔར་བཞིན་དུ་དྲིས་ཏེ་སེམས་སྡུག་བསྔལ་བར་གྱུར་ནས། སླར་ཡང་བཟློག་སྟེ་

于是召唤车夫，说道：“准备车辆。”他回答说：“好的。”听到命令后，便用各种适合的装饰品装饰了大型车辆的轮子的顶端，并用四匹吉祥的、颜色像睡莲花瓣的马驾着车辆，菩萨便出发了。菩萨像住在天宫一样，乘坐着车辆，向花园的方向驶去。诸天说道：“童子义成的圆满菩提的时刻已经临近了，应该观看之前的征兆。”一位天子显现出一个衰老、弯曲、牙齿脱落、头发变白、驼背、身体弯曲、手持拐杖、发出嘶哑声音的人。菩萨和车夫都看到了他。之后，菩萨问车夫：“这个人是谁？头发也和其他人不一样，这是怎么回事？”应该像《大自在天经》中说的那样询问。听到这些话后，他心想：“生是不永恒的，所有生下来的东西都会变老。”心中悲伤，立即返回，回到了自己的宫殿。国王问道：“为什么我的儿子这么快就回来了？为什么？”（车夫）回答说：“（菩萨）看到一个衰老弯曲的人，所以想要出家。”（国王说：）“快点为我的儿子准备娱乐的活动！如果让他体验到圆满的快乐，就不会再想起出家的事情了。”说完，便增加了守卫，在各个方向都设置了八由旬的距离。另外，有一天，菩萨像往常一样去花园时，看到天神变化出来的一个病人，便像之前一样询问。心中感到悲伤，再次返回，回到了自己的宫殿。国王再次询问，像之前一样做了，然后再次增加守卫，在所有地方都设置了十二由旬的范围。又有一天，菩萨像往常一样去花园时，看到天神变化出来的一个死去的人，便像之前一样询问，心中感到悲伤，再次返回。

Then he summoned the charioteer and said, "Prepare the chariot." He replied, "Yes." Upon hearing the command, he adorned the top of the wheels of the large chariot with all kinds of suitable ornaments, and four auspicious horses, the color of lotus petals, drove the chariot, and the Bodhisattva set off. The Bodhisattva, as if residing in a heavenly palace, rode in the chariot and headed towards the garden. The gods said, "The time for the youth Siddhartha to attain perfect enlightenment is near. It is appropriate to observe the previous signs." A son of the gods manifested an old, bent, toothless, white-haired, hunched, crooked-backed person with a cane in his hand, making a hoarse sound. The Bodhisattva and the charioteer both saw him. Then, the Bodhisattva asked the charioteer, "Who is this person? His hair is also different from others, what is this?" He should inquire as it is said in the Sutra of the Great Lord. Upon hearing these words, he thought, "Birth is impermanent, and all that is born will age." His heart saddened, and he immediately returned to his own palace. The king asked, "Why did my son return so quickly? Why?" (The charioteer) replied, "(The Bodhisattva) saw an old and bent person, so he wants to renounce the world." (The king said,) "Quickly prepare entertainment activities for my son! If he experiences perfect joy, he will not remember renunciation." Having said this, he increased the guards and placed them in all directions at a distance of eight yojanas. Furthermore, one day, when the Bodhisattva went to the garden as usual, he saw a sick person transformed by the gods and inquired as before. His heart saddened, and he returned again to his own palace. The king inquired again, did as before, and then increased the guards again, placing them in all places within a range of twelve yojanas. Again, on another day, when the Bodhisattva went to the garden as usual, he saw a dead person transformed by the gods and inquired as before, his heart saddened, and he returned again.

ཁང་བཟངས་སུ་གཤེགས་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོས་དྲིས་པ་སྔར་བཞིན་དུ་བྱས་ནས། སླར་ཡང་བསྲུང་བ་སྤེལ་ཏེ་ཀུན་ནས་བསྐོར་བར་དཔག་ཚད་གཅིག་གི་ཚད་ལ་བསྲུང་བ་བཞག་གོ། །སླར་ཡང་ཉི་མ་གཞན་ལ་སྐྱེད་མོས་ཚལ་དུ་གཤེགས་པ་ན་དེ་བཞིན་དུ་ལྷས་སྤྲུལ་པའི་གོས་བཟང་པོ་ལེགས་པ་གྱོན་པའི་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་བ་གཅིག་གཟིགས་ནས། འདིའི་མིང་ཅི་ཞེས་ཁ་ལོ་བ་ལ་དྲིས་སོ། །གང་དུ་ཡང་སངས་རྒྱས་བྱོན་པར་མ་གྱུར་ཅིང་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་བའི་ཡོན་ཏན་མི་ཤེས་ལྷའི་མཐུས་སླར་ཡང་ལྷ་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་བ་ཡིན་ཞེས་བརྗོད་དོ། །རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་བའི་ཡོན་ཏན་ལ་བསྔགས་པ་བརྗོད་དོ། །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་བ་ལ་འདུན་པ་སྐྱེས་ནས་དེའི་ཉིན་མོ་སྐྱེད་མོས་ཚལ་དུ་གཤེགས་སོ། །སློབ་དཔོན་ཁ་ཅིག་ འདི་སྐད་ཟེར་ཏེ། སྔུན་གྱི་མཚན་མ་བཞི་པ་ཉི་མ་གཅིག་ཉིད་ལ་མཐོང་ངོ་ཞེས་ཟེར་རོ། །དེ་ནི་མི་འཐད་དོ། །དེ་ལ་ཉིན་མོའི་ཆར་རྩེ་ཞིང་བཀྲ་ཤིས་པའི་རྫིང་བུར་ཁྲུས་བྱས་ནས་ཉི་མ་ནུབ་པ་ན་བཀྲ་ཤིས་པའི་རྡོ་ལེབ་ཀྱི་སྟན་ལ་བཞུགས་སོ། །རང་ལ་རྒྱན་གྱིས་བརྒྱན་པར་སེམས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་རྗེས་སུ་འབྲང་བའི་སྐྱེས་བུ་རྣམས་ཁ་དོག་སྣ་ཚོགས་པའི་གོས་དང་རྒྱན་རྣམ་པ་སྣ་ཚོགས་པས་བརྒྱན། མེ་ཏོག་གི་ཕྲེང་བ་དང་སྤོས་དང་བྱུག་པ་ལ་སོགས་པ་བསླངས་ནས་ཕྱོགས་ཀུན་དུ་བསྐོར་ནས་འདུག་གོ། །དེ་མ་ཐག་པར་བརྒྱ་བྱིན་སྡོད་པའི་གདན་དྲོ་བར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །གང་ཞིག་བདག་གི་གནས་འདོར་བའི་སེམས་སུ་ཞིག་ལ་སྐྱེས་པར་གྱུར་ཞེས་བརྟགས་སོ། །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་རྒྱན་བྱེད་པའི་དུས་མཐོང་ངོ། །ལས་ཐམས་ཅད་པ་བོས་སོ། །ལས་ཐམས་ཅད་པ་གཞོན་ནུ་དོན་གྲུབ་དེ་རིང་གི་མཚན་ཕྱེད་ཀྱི་དུས་སུ་ངེས་པར་འབྱུང་བ་ཆེན་པོས་འཐོན་ནོ། །འདི་དེའི་ཕྱི་མའི་རྒྱན་ཡིན་ནོ། །སྐྱེད་མོས་ཚལ་དུ་སོང་ལ་སྐྱེས་བུ་ཆེན་པོ་ལྷའི་རྒྱན་གྱིས་བརྒྱན་པར་གྱིས་ཤིག །དེས་དེ་ཐོས་ནས་ལེགས་སོ་ཞེས་བརྗོད་དེ་ལྷའི་མཐུས་དེ་མ་ཐག་པར་ཉེ་བར་སོང་སྟེ། དེའི་རིམ་གྲོ་པ་དང་མཚུངས་པར་གྱུར་ནས་རིམ་གྲོ་པའི་ལག་ཏུ་རས་བསླངས་ནས་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་དབུ་ལ་བཅིངས་སོ། །བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་མགོ་ལ་ལག་པས་རེག་པ་ན་འདི་མི་མ་ཡིན་ཏེ་ལྷའི་བུ་ཡིན་པར་ཤེས་སོ། །བཅིངས་པ་ཙམ་ན་བཅིངས་པའི་དབུའི་ཅོད་པན་ནོར་བུ་རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་རྣམ་པ་ལ་སྟོང་ཕྲག་གཅིག་གི་དུ་གུ་ལའི་རས་ཀྱིས་བཅིངས་སོ། །སླར་ཡང་འཆིང་བ་ན་དུ་གུ་ལའི་རས་སྟོང་ཕྲག་གཅིག་གིས་ལན་བཅུ་དཀྲིས་ནས་སྟོང་ཕྲག་བཅུས་དུ་གུ་ལའི་རས

前往宫殿后，国王像之前一样询问，然后再次增加守卫，在四周一由旬的范围内设置守卫。之后，又在另一天前往花园时，同样看到一位穿着天神化现的美丽好衣服的出家人，便问车夫：“这叫什么？”车夫回答说：“无论何处都没有佛陀降临，也不知出家的功德，这是天神以神力再次化现为出家人。”（国王）赞叹出家的功德。菩萨生起对出家的向往，于是在那天前往花园。有些论师说：“之前的四个征兆在同一天见到。”这是不合理的。于是，在白天雨过天晴，于吉祥的池塘中沐浴后，太阳落山时，坐在吉祥的石板座上。心想自己要用装饰品来打扮。之后，跟随的男人们用各种颜色的衣服和各种各样的装饰品打扮，拿着花环、香和涂香等，在四面八方围绕着坐下。就在那时，帝释天居住的座位变得温暖。帝释天心想：“是谁生起了要舍弃我的位置的念头？”看到了菩萨要装饰的时间。于是召唤了主管一切事务者。主管一切事务者说：“童子义成今天半夜一定会以大出离的方式离开。这是他最后的装饰。去花园，用天神的装饰品来装饰这位伟人吧！”他听到后，回答说：“好的。”然后以天神的神力立刻靠近，变得和他的侍从一样，从侍从的手中接过布，绑在菩萨的头上。菩萨用手触摸头时，知道这不是人，而是天神之子。仅仅是绑上时，就用一千条杜古拉布绑在绑着的头饰上，那是珍宝的形状。再次缠绕时，用一千条杜古拉布缠绕了十圈，用一万条杜古拉布

Having gone to the palace, the king asked as before, and then again increased the guards, placing guards all around to the extent of one yojana. Afterwards, again on another day when he went to the garden, he likewise saw a renunciate wearing fine, beautiful clothes manifested by the gods, and asked the charioteer, "What is this called?" The charioteer replied, "Nowhere has a Buddha appeared, nor is the merit of renunciation known; this is a god again manifested as a renunciate by divine power." (The king) praised the merit of renunciation. The Bodhisattva developed a desire for renunciation, and so on that day went to the garden. Some teachers say, "The previous four signs were seen on the same day." That is unreasonable. So, in the daytime after the rain had cleared, having bathed in the auspicious pond, when the sun set, he sat on the auspicious stone slab seat. He thought to adorn himself with ornaments. Then, the men who followed adorned themselves with clothes of various colors and various kinds of ornaments, and holding up garlands of flowers, incense, and unguents, etc., sat around in all directions. Immediately, the seat of Indra became warm. Indra thought, "Who has arisen with the thought to abandon my position?" He saw the time for the Bodhisattva to be adorned. So he summoned the one in charge of all affairs. The one in charge of all affairs said, "The youth Siddhartha will certainly leave tonight at midnight with a great departure. This is his final adornment. Go to the garden and adorn the great being with divine ornaments!" Having heard that, he replied, "Good." Then, by the power of the gods, he immediately approached, became like his attendant, took the cloth from the attendant's hand, and tied it on the Bodhisattva's head. When the Bodhisattva touched his head with his hand, he knew that this was not a human, but a son of the gods. Just as he tied it, he tied a thousand strands of dugula cloth on the tied headdress, which was in the shape of a precious jewel. Again, when tying it, he wrapped a thousand strands of dugula cloth ten times, using ten thousand strands of dugula cloth.
