If there isn't even the slightest crack, how can one transcend? Sharadvatiputra said: Manjushri, what is the epithet "one who possesses the patience of non-arising"? Manjushri said: Venerable Sharadvatiputra, whoever has not generated even the slightest dharma is called "one who possesses the patience of non-arising." Sharadvatiputra said: Manjushri, what is the epithet "untamed bhikshuni"? Manjushri said: Venerable Sharadvatiputra, the epithet "untamed bhikshuni" is an epithet for an arhat who has exhausted the outflows. Why is that? Because the untamed is the tamed, and the tamed is the untamed. Therefore, Venerable Sharadvatiputra, considering this, the epithet "untamed bhikshuni" is an epithet for an arhat who has exhausted the outflows. Thus he spoke. Venerable Sharadvatiputra, the expression "one who engages in higher mind" is an epithet for ordinary beings. Sharadvatiputra said: Manjushri, based on what do you say this? Manjushri said: Venerable Sharadvatiputra, it is because they engage in something higher. After saying this, the venerable Sharadvatiputra said to Manjushri, who had become a youth, the following: Manjushri, you have spoken well, very well, about the arhat who has exhausted the outflows, just as it is. Manjushri said: Venerable Sharadvatiputra, it is just as you say. Although I have exhausted the outflows, I am not an arhat. Why is that? Venerable Sharadvatiputra, it is because my thoughts have been exhausted in the realm of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. Venerable Sharadvatiputra, in this way, although I have exhausted the outflows, I am not an arhat. Then, the Bhagavan spoke these words to Manjushri, who had become a youth: Manjushri, is there any possibility that a Bodhisattva Mahasattva, abiding in the essence of Bodhi, would not realize unexcelled, perfect, and complete enlightenment? Manjushri replied: Bhagavan, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva abiding in the essence of Bodhi has no possibility of not realizing unexcelled, perfect, and complete enlightenment.

There are also terms for transformation. Why is that? Like this, for Bodhi, even a little bit of Dharma does not exist and is not perceived, therefore it is called unsurpassed, perfectly complete Bodhi. That Bodhi is also unborn. In that, who exists in the essence of Bodhi? Who realizes Bodhi? Who realizes Bodhi with Bodhi? What Bodhi realizes? Nothing arises from the essence of Bodhi and is not perceived. World Honored One, with this term, Bodhisattva Mahasattva exists in the essence of Bodhi, but there is no chance to realize unsurpassed, perfectly complete Bodhi. After saying that, the World Honored One said to Manjushri, who had become a youth: Manjushri, what is the euphemism for what is called Bodhi? Manjushri said: World Honored One, what is called Bodhi is the euphemism for the five inexpiable crimes. Why is that? World Honored One, like this, because things do not exist, those five inexpiable crimes themselves are the nature of Bodhi. Why is that? Bodhi is the nature of the five inexpiable crimes. Realizing the inexpiable crimes is not Bodhi. All Dharmas becoming manifest is also not Bodhi. Why is that? All Dharmas are not very manifest. Those who have not realized anything. From not seeing, not hearing, not knowing to not realizing, that is the reason. That is Bodhi. Even so, World Honored One, those with pride establish those from realizing Buddhahood to being manifest. After saying that, the World Honored One said to Manjushri, who had become a youth: Manjushri, do you think of me like this, that the Tathagata is my Tathagata? Manjushri said: World Honored One, it is not like that. Why is that? World Honored One, like this, I do not think that the Tathagata is my Tathagata.
