is the realm of self-nature. Why is that? This realm of practice is unconditioned; therefore, it is called the non-realm of practice. Then, the youth Manjushri said to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, by practicing what will a Bodhisattva Mahasattva quickly realize the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment?" Having thus requested, the Blessed One said to the youth Manjushri: "Manjushri, by practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva will quickly realize the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Manjushri, there is a samadhi called 'Single Array,' by practicing that samadhi, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva will quickly realize the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment." Having thus spoken, the youth Manjushri said to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, how does a Bodhisattva Mahasattva enter the samadhi of Single Array? And why is it called the samadhi of Single Array?" The Blessed One said: "Manjushri, this 'Single Array' is another name for the unborn. A son or daughter of good family who wishes to enter the samadhi of Single Array should first thoroughly inquire about the Perfection of Wisdom, and then they will be able to enter the samadhi of Single Array. Why is that? Manjushri, the unborn is unmoving, unshakeable, not to be shaken, inconceivable, unthinkable, and immeasurable. Manjushri, a son or daughter of good family who wishes to enter the samadhi of Single Array should rely on the paths shown in solitude, delight in places free from commotion, not attend to any characteristics, sit in the lotus posture, and, in a non-referential manner, remember one Tathagata. They should also remember all dharmas. Whichever Tathagata they remember,

It should also be upheld. Having heard that name, focus on that name, and manifestly look towards the direction where the Tathagata resides and abide there. Keep it in mind. If that Tathagata is kept in mind, then by keeping him in mind, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who have appeared in the past, future, and present, will be kept in mind. Why is that? Because the Tathagata himself is one. Manjushri, just as the qualities of a single Tathagata Buddha are immeasurable and the fearlessness is immeasurable, similarly, Manjushri, having attained the Samadhi of a Single Array, one should know that the distinctions of the categories of a single unborn Dharma are immeasurable. Here, whatever is lost, and whatever is spoken by the Tathagatas, the Arhats, the perfectly enlightened Buddhas, and however much Ananda has upheld, that many categories of Dharma will appear here. By practicing this Samadhi of a Single Array, one will abide for as long as that lifespan lasts, and will teach the Dharma including the topics. Manjushri, some Bodhisattva-yana practitioners might think, what is this Samadhi of a Single Array? To those, one should say: Having fully accomplished inconceivable qualities, truly uphold and abide, and as you truly uphold and abide, you will see the qualities of this Samadhi, and be fearless in the manner that has been shown. This Samadhi cannot be practiced by those who have a view of objects, or by those who have a view of things, or even by those who have a view of existence. Manjushri, for example, a person possesses a priceless jewel that has not been polished, and another person says to that person: Hey, sir, what is the value of this jewel? What qualities does this jewel have? And that person also says to him: Hey, sir, the qualities of this jewel are immeasurable, know that they are immeasurable. Then, that person, in order to polish that jewel, leaves it with that person, saying: Hey, sir, jewel

Child, first wipe this precious jewel clean, then you will know its value. Having said that, the man took the precious jewel from him and wiped it with the tools for wiping. As he wiped it like that, the precious jewel revealed its incomparable value. The more he wiped the precious jewel, the more he saw the qualities of the precious jewel. Similarly, Manjushri, whenever a son or daughter of good family abides in and enters this samadhi, then the qualities of this samadhi will be seen. Manjushri, it is like the rays of the sun's orb that do not fail to pervade any part of the orb. Manjushri, similarly, one who has attained, entered, and realized this single arrangement samadhi does not teach any dharma that does not teach the perfection of wisdom. If one knows this in this way, one will not see birth and death and any contradictory dharmas. Manjushri, it is like four men drawing water from the four directions of the great ocean, and all of them draw and take the same taste, namely the taste of salt. Manjushri, similarly, whatever dharma is taught, all of them have the same taste, namely the taste of unborn, the taste of non-object, the taste of detachment, the taste of liberation, and the taste of cessation. Manjushri, therefore, a son or daughter of good family who possesses this samadhi, whatever dharma they teach, all of them will teach the same taste, namely the taste of unborn, the taste of non-object, the taste of detachment, the taste of liberation, and the taste of cessation. Having obtained this samadhi, a son or daughter of good family, if they wish, will be able to explain, elaborate, and clearly show the dharma that I have taught. Manjushri, therefore, a son or daughter of good family, having obtained this samadhi, whatever they teach, all of them will teach in an invisible way, unborn, unarisen, and non-objective. Manjushri, furthermore, the Bodhicitta who has obtained this samadhi
