And, feeling happy, having contentment arise in their minds, they repeatedly seek, saying, "Hey, that person, please repeat it!" If someone seeks like that, then that person has also previously experienced that city, the delightful gardens, the delightful country, the delightful ponds, the delightful groves, the springs, the lakes, the delightful pools, the flowers, and the delightful fruits. That person will realize it in that way. Why is that? It is because, having heard it, they are very happy in their minds, extremely happy, having become extremely happy, they are content, pleased, and contentment arises. Light Protector, similarly, those who have shown reverence and respect to Mañjuśrīkumārabhūta, and who repeatedly go to him and ask questions, if they hear the profound Prajñāpāramitā from unborn, unarisen to non-entity, they will become very happy and content, greatly increasing joy and satisfaction, and will say these words: "Oh, how wonderful! This Prajñāpāramitā, which teaches from unborn, unarisen to non-entity, how well I have heard it!" Having spoken thus, the venerable Mahākāśyapa said this to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, in the time when they do not exist, the characteristics, signs, and marks of those sons or daughters of good family who will arise with faith, are they the same as those that the Blessed One has spoken of?" The Blessed One said: "Light Protector, it is just as you have said. In the future time, the characteristics, signs, and marks of those sons or daughters of good family who will arise with faith, are the same as these that I have now shown." Then, Mañjuśrīkumārabhūta said this to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, the Dharma is without characteristics and without signs, and Blessed One, the Prajñāpāramitā is also from without characteristics to without marks, so what kind of characteristics, signs, or marks will there be? Blessed One, the Dharma that you have taught is also without characteristics, without signs, up to without marks, so Blessed One,

How can one indicate what has no form, no sign, and no characteristics? After this was requested, the Blessed One spoke to Manjushri, who had become a youth, saying: Manjushri, the profound Prajnaparamita, which is extremely unborn and between non-entities, if this is indicated, then those who do from faith to complete understanding, those themselves are the form, signs, and characteristics of those sons and daughters of good family. Manjushri, wherever the Prajnaparamita is taught, there, all the Buddha's teachings should be observed. There, the teaching of the inconceivable should be observed. Manjushri, when I previously practiced the conduct of a Bodhisattva, whatever roots of virtue were perfectly accomplished, and with whatever roots of virtue this unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment was manifested, the roots of virtue of becoming a Buddha, the sons or daughters of good family who wish to perfectly accomplish those roots of virtue, should listen to this Prajnaparamita, have faith, write it down, hold it, recite it, receive its words, recite it, recite its words, completely understand it, properly attend to it, from practicing it, to flowers, incense, perfume, garlands, ointments, powders, clothes, umbrellas, banners, and victory banners, lamps, and so forth, to the extent of their ability, offer them. They should serve it. Sons or daughters of good family who wish to transcend all the deeds of Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas should also listen to this Prajnaparamita, from listening to serving. Manjushri, sons or daughters of good family who wish to hear how to enter the irreversible stage should also listen to this Prajnaparamita, from listening to serving. Manjushri, whatever dharma it may be, sons or daughters of good family who wish to have faith in the equality of all those unborn things should also listen to this Prajnaparamita, from listening to serving. Manjushri, sons of good family who wish to fully awaken to all the Buddha's teachings

Ma. A daughter of good family should also practice from listening to this Perfection of Wisdom up to making offerings. Manjushri, if there is a son or daughter of good family who wishes to believe in this profound teaching that the Tathagata has manifestly awakened to all dharmas, they should also practice from listening to this Perfection of Wisdom up to making offerings. Why is that? Because there is no one who manifests perfect enlightenment, nor is there anything by which one manifests perfect enlightenment, nor is there any dharma to be perfectly enlightened to, because it is not perceptible. Thus, a son or daughter of good family who wishes to understand and believe in this meaning should also practice from listening to this Perfection of Wisdom up to making offerings. If there is a son or daughter of good family who wishes to believe that "there is no dharma that is not enlightenment," they should also practice from listening to this Perfection of Wisdom up to making offerings. If there is a son or daughter of good family who wishes not to discriminate about all dharmas, they should also practice from listening to this Perfection of Wisdom up to making offerings. Why is that? Because the Perfection of Wisdom does not refute, generate, or show the complete accomplishment of any dharma. If there is a son or daughter of good family who wishes to enter into "all dharmas are neither completely afflicted nor completely purified," they should also practice from listening to this Perfection of Wisdom up to making offerings. If there is a son or daughter of good family who wishes to believe and enter into "all dharmas are not past, not future, not present," they should also practice from listening to this Perfection of Wisdom up to making offerings. Why is that? Manjushri, because the unborn is not past, not future, not present. Why is that? Manjushri, because all dharmas rely on the unborn. If there is a son or daughter of good family who wishes to understand such dharmas without hesitation, they should also practice from listening to this Perfection of Wisdom.
