He does not perceive anything in form. Whoever does not perceive anything in form, he does not perceive anything in form. When one does not perceive anything in form, and everything is perceived, that perception is completely accomplished. If one abides in that non-perception, even the Great Vehicle will surely arise, what need to mention the Hearer's Vehicle or the Solitary Buddha's Vehicle? Subhuti, if one truly sees that feelings, perceptions, formations, and consciousness are merely imputed and mistaken, then one does not perceive consciousness as consciousness in consciousness. Whoever does not perceive consciousness as consciousness in consciousness, he does not perceive seeing consciousness as consciousness in consciousness. Whoever does not perceive seeing consciousness as consciousness in consciousness, he does not perceive anything in consciousness. Whoever does not perceive anything in consciousness, he perceives everything in consciousness. If one does not perceive anything in consciousness, and everything is perceived, then that non-perception is completely accomplished. If that perception arises, even the Great Vehicle will surely arise, what need to mention the Hearer's Vehicle or the Solitary Buddha's Vehicle? Subhuti, if a Bodhisattva clings to form as if it were sound, and engages in conventional terms, then he is engaging in the view of the aggregates of destruction. He is also engaging in the craving for existence. He is engaging in completely seeking destruction, which is a sign of not completely knowing form. Similarly, if a Bodhisattva clings to feelings, perceptions, formations, and consciousness as if they were sound, and engages in conventional terms, then he is engaging in the view of the aggregates of destruction. He is also engaging in the craving for existence. He is engaging in completely seeking destruction, which is a sign of not completely knowing consciousness.

A Bodhisattva who clings to feelings, perceptions, formations, and consciousness as they sound, and who does not act accordingly in terms of names, does not act accordingly in terms of the view of the collection of destruction. Furthermore, he does not act accordingly in terms of desire for existence. He does not act accordingly in terms of completely seeking destruction, for the complete knowledge of consciousness is a sign. Subhuti, what conditions does a Bodhisattva fulfill to transform the seeds of a purified mind? These three are: desire is the seed of the mind, aversion is the seed of the mind, and non-abandonment is the seed of the mind. Subhuti, a Bodhisattva should generate these three minds: a mind without attachment to form, a mind of detachment, and a mind of complete taming. Subhuti, a Bodhisattva should truly observe the arising of mind, the non-arising of mind, the increase of mind, and the simultaneous arising of mind in relation to form. If he truly observes in this way, he will quickly awaken to unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, and manifest perfect enlightenment. Subhuti, if a Bodhisattva truly observes form as having existence, or truly observes it as having existence or non-existence, then he should be known as an ignorant Bodhisattva.
