Yes. Why is that? Because there are no sentient beings. If a Bodhisattva truly focuses, thinking, 'This is enlightenment, this is a sentient being,' then even enlightenment will be found. Understanding the absence of sentient beings, the non-existence of sentient beings, and being separate from sentient beings is called a Bodhisattva. Being without sentient beings and destroying the perception of sentient beings is called a Bodhisattva. Why is that? Because what is called the realm of sentient beings is just another name for the absence of sentient beings. Because there is no realm of sentient beings, there are no sentient beings in sentient beings. If there were sentient beings in sentient beings, it would not be called the realm of sentient beings. What is called the realm of sentient beings shows the absence of a realm; the absence of a realm is the realm of sentient beings. If the realm of sentient beings were the realm of sentient beings, then life would be the same as the body. If the realm of sentient beings were separate from the realm of sentient beings, then life would be different, and the body would be different. The absence of a realm is the realm of sentient beings; it goes by conventional terminology. In the realm of sentient beings, there is no realm; apart from the realm, there is no realm of sentient beings. All phenomena are without a realm; thinking about that, I said that the realm of sentient beings is not seen as full or empty. Why is that? Because the realm of sentient beings is utterly empty, the realm of sentient beings is not sentient beings. Just as the realm of sentient beings is not seen as decreasing or increasing, so too all phenomena are not seen as decreasing or increasing. There is nothing fully established in all phenomena that can become decreasing or increasing; whoever understands all phenomena in that way is said to understand the Dharma of the Buddhas, and thinking about this, I said that just as the realm of sentient beings is not seen as decreasing or increasing, so too all phenomena are not seen as decreasing or increasing. Because all phenomena are not decreasing or increasing in the way that nothing is fully established, the Dharma of the Buddhas is also not decreasing or increasing. Because all phenomena are understood in that way, the Dharmas of the Buddhas are without decrease and without increase. Because all phenomena are without decrease and without increase, the Buddhas

That which is called "the Dharma of the Buddha" is not a mere term for the Dharma of the Buddha. The Dharma of the Buddha cannot be diminished or increased by anything. Why is that? Because it encompasses all dharmas. For that which encompasses all dharmas, there is no dharma that can be diminished or increased. That which is called "all dharmas" is a term for the realm of Dharma, and the realm of Dharma has no diminishing or increasing. Why is that? Because the realm of Dharma is infinite. The realm of sentient beings and the realm of Dharma are not perceived as different. There is no perception or existence of diminishing or increasing in the realm of sentient beings and the realm of Dharma. Whoever comprehends it in this way is called enlightenment (bodhi). Therefore, the dharmas of the Buddha are not seen to diminish or increase. "Completely overcoming with excellent power, without diminishing and without increasing," as it is said, is a term for seeing accurate examination as it is. Nothing can be removed or added to it. Whoever comprehends it in this way is called enlightenment (bodhi). Completely overcoming with excellent power, that which is called enlightenment (bodhi) is the characteristic of the Buddha. What is the characteristic of the Buddha like? The characteristic of all dharmas, the characteristic of no characteristic, that is the characteristic of the Buddha. Enlightenment (bodhi) is without characteristic, the opposite of the nature of characteristic. Whoever comprehends it in this way is called enlightenment (bodhi), but it is not as it is spoken. Completely overcoming with excellent power, because of fully realizing all dharmas, it is called a Bodhisattva. Completely overcoming with excellent power, if someone does not fully know or comprehend this Dharma, but claims to be a Bodhisattva, then they are far from the ground of a Bodhisattva. They are far from the dharmas of a Bodhisattva. They deceive the world with gods, humans, and asuras with the name of a Bodhisattva. Completely overcoming with excellent power, if one could become a Bodhisattva merely by words, then all sentient beings would become Bodhisattvas. Completely overcoming with excellent power, for example, bodhi
