Having subdued with the power of excellence, he entreated thus: "Bhagavan, it is like this: The practice of the Bodhisattva who practices the Perfection of Wisdom is unsurpassed. Bhagavan, it is like this: The practice of the Bodhisattva who practices the Perfection of Wisdom is radiant. Bhagavan, it is like this: The practice of the Bodhisattva who practices the Perfection of Wisdom is incomparable. Bhagavan, it is like this: The practice of the Bodhisattva who practices the Perfection of Wisdom is manifestly superior. Bhagavan, it is like this: The practice of the Bodhisattva who practices the Perfection of Wisdom is unconquerable, neither by Mara, nor by Mara's retinue, nor by others who engage in signs, who engage in objects, who view self as self, who view sentient beings as sentient beings, who view life as life, who view persons as persons, who view annihilation as annihilation, who view permanence as permanence, who view aggregates as aggregates, who view elements as elements, who view sources as sources, who view Buddhas as Buddhas, who view Dharma as Dharma, who view Sangha as Sangha, who view Nirvana as Nirvana, who perceive attainment, who are arrogant, who are attached, who are hateful, who engage in delusion, who engage in perversion, who abide in wrong paths, none can conquer. Bhagavan, it is like this: The practice of the Bodhisattva who practices the Perfection of Wisdom is manifestly superior to all the world." When he entreated thus, the Bhagavan spoke thus to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva who subdues with the power of excellence: "It is so, it is so. Subduer with the power of excellence, it is so, it is so, this Bodhisattva is unconquerable by Mara, or by the sons of gods of Mara's retinue, or by Mara's retinue. Even those who view Nirvana as Nirvana, or all childish ordinary beings who are manifestly attached to Nirvana cannot conquer. Subduer with the power of excellence, this is the practice of the Bodhisattvas, this is not the practice of all ordinary beings. This is the practice of learners and non-learners.

It is not the practice of those of the Hearer Vehicle and the Solitary Buddha Vehicle. If one subdues with diligence, if it becomes the practice of those of the Hearer Vehicle or the Solitary Buddha Vehicle, then for them, the term 'Hearer Vehicle' or 'Solitary Buddha Vehicle' will no longer exist, but they will become Bodhisattvas. If they become Tathagatas who have attained the four fearlessnesses, then this practice of subduing with diligence is not for those of the Hearer Vehicle, nor for those of the Solitary Buddha Vehicle. Therefore, they are not counted among the Bodhisattvas, nor will they become Tathagatas who have attained the four fearlessnesses. Subduing with diligence, whoever practices the Perfection of Wisdom, this is the ground of fearlessness. Subduing with diligence, those Bodhisattvas who practice in this way, even if they do not manifest complete enlightenment in unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, they will quickly attain the four fearlessnesses through the power of their aspirations and the blessings of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. Subduing with diligence, those of the Hearer Vehicle and those of the Solitary Buddha Vehicle do not have the four fearlessnesses, and the Tathagatas do not bless them with the four fearlessnesses. Subduing with diligence, whoever attains the four fearlessnesses through the power of aspiration, that is the state of a Bodhisattva. Why is that? Subduing with diligence, the Bodhisattvas who practice the Perfection of Wisdom will attain four distinct perfect knowledges. What are the four? They are distinct perfect knowledge of meaning, distinct perfect knowledge of Dharma, distinct perfect knowledge of terms, and distinct perfect knowledge of eloquence. Those who possess these four, even if they do not manifest complete enlightenment, will be skilled in holding the four fearlessnesses through the power of aspiration. The Tathagatas also know that they possess roots of virtue, the Perfection of Wisdom.

And also knowing that the Tathagata's ground can be obtained later, he blesses the four fearlessnesses. Therefore, in order to completely subdue with extreme effort, if the Bodhisattvas wish to obtain the four correct knowledges and wish to quickly become proficient in the four fearlessnesses, then they should study the Prajnaparamita. Should be practiced. Moreover, completely subduing with extreme effort, the Bodhisattva who practices the Prajnaparamita also knows well the cause, arising, cessation, and pacification of all dharmas. He does not combine any dharma with the Prajnaparamita. Because of knowing well the cause, arising, cessation, path, and nature of all dharmas, he also does not meditate on form, nor does he meditate on non-meditation. Likewise, he also does not meditate on feeling, thought, formations, and consciousness, nor does he meditate on non-meditation. He also does not meditate on name and form, nor does he meditate on non-meditation. He also does not meditate on defilement and purification, nor does he meditate on non-meditation. He also does not meditate on perversion, obscuration, and view, nor does he meditate on non-meditation. He also does not meditate on desire, anger, and ignorance, nor does he meditate on non-meditation. He also does not meditate on the desire realm, form realm, and formless realm, nor does he meditate on non-meditation. He also does not meditate on the sentient being realm and the self realm, nor does he meditate on non-meditation. He also does not meditate on annihilationism and eternalism, nor does he meditate on non-meditation. He also does not meditate on generosity, stinginess, discipline, broken discipline, patience, anger, diligence, laziness, meditation, distraction, wisdom, and evil wisdom, nor does he meditate on non-meditation. He also does not meditate on mindfulness, correct abandonment, non-perversion, miraculous feet, and immeasurables, nor does he meditate on non-meditation. He also does not meditate on faculties, powers, limbs of enlightenment, samadhi, and attainments, nor does he meditate on non-meditation. He also does not meditate on dependent origination
