The Tathagata, after passing away, neither arises nor does not arise; this is based on form. Similarly, with regard to feeling, perception, formations, etc., the Tathagata arises after passing away; this is based on consciousness. The Tathagata does not arise after passing away; this is based on consciousness. The Tathagata both arises and does not arise after passing away; this is based on consciousness. The Tathagata neither arises nor does not arise after passing away; this is based on consciousness. "The self and the world are permanent"—this is true, and the rest is delusion; this is based on form. "The self and the world are impermanent"—this is true, and the rest is delusion; this is based on form. Saying "it is ignorance" relies on form. Saying "I and the world are both finite and infinite" is true, but other than that is ignorance, which relies on form. Saying "I and the world are neither finite nor infinite" is true, but other than that is ignorance, which relies on form. Similarly, with regard to feeling, perception, and formations, saying "I and the world are finite" is true, but other than that is ignorance, which relies on consciousness. Saying "life is other and the body is other" is true, but other than that is ignorance, which relies on consciousness. Subhuti, in this way, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened One, relying on this Prajnaparamita, fully knows that the manifestation and concealment of other sentient beings and other immeasurable, countless individuals rely on form. Similarly, he fully knows that those manifestations and concealments rely on feeling, perception, formations, and consciousness. Furthermore, Subhuti, the Tathagata, with the Prajnaparamita

Relying on this Prajñāpāramitā, the Tathāgata fully knows the distinctions and aggregations of other beings and other individuals, just as they truly are. Subhuti, how does the Tathāgata, relying on this Prajñāpāramitā, fully know the distinctions and aggregations of other beings and other individuals, just as they truly are? Subhuti, the Tathāgata knows form. Subhuti, how does the Tathāgata know form? Subhuti, the Tathāgata knows form as it truly is, according to Suchness. Subhuti, thus the Tathāgata knows form. Similarly, with feeling, perception, and formations. Subhuti, the Tathāgata knows consciousness. Subhuti, how does the Tathāgata know consciousness? Subhuti, the Tathāgata knows consciousness as it truly is, according to Suchness. Subhuti, thus the Tathāgata knows consciousness. Subhuti, thus the Tathāgata, relying on this Prajñāpāramitā, fully knows the distinctions and aggregations of other beings and other individuals, just as they truly are. Subhuti, thus the Tathāgata establishes Suchness as the Suchness of the Tathāgata, the Suchness of the aggregates, and the Suchness of distinctions and aggregations. Subhuti, the Suchness of the aggregates is also the Suchness of the world. Why is that? Subhuti, the Tathāgata has declared that the five aggregates are the world. Subhuti, therefore, the Suchness of the aggregates is the Suchness of the world. The Suchness of the world is the Suchness of all dharmas. The Suchness of all dharmas is the Suchness of the fruit of stream-entry. The Suchness of the fruit of stream-entry is the Suchness of the fruit of once-returner. The Suchness of the fruit of once-returner is the Suchness of non-returner.
