Whatever dedication there is, this is the dedication of the Dharmadhatu of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva. How the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, know and see this very Dharma-nature, and whatever kind of roots of virtue, to which class they belong, what they are like, what their nature is, what their characteristics are, and by what Dharma-nature they exist, thus I rejoice, and as I follow, thus I dedicate. What is the accumulation of merit in this? In the three-thousand great-thousand world realms, in as many worlds as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River, how many sentient beings are there? Among all those sentient beings, any son or daughter of good family who has rightly established and placed sentient beings on the path of the ten virtuous actions, whatever merit is manifested, compared to that, this accumulation of merit born from the dedication of the Dharmadhatu of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva is called supreme, called sacred, called chief, called excellent, called most excellent, called abundant, called highest, called unsurpassed, called unequaled, called incomparable, called equal to the unequal. Furthermore, Subhuti, in the three-thousand great-thousand world realms, in as many worlds as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River, how many sentient beings are there? Let alone the merit manifested by all those sentient beings being placed on the path of the ten virtuous actions. Furthermore, Subhuti, in the three-thousand great-thousand world realms, in as many worlds as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River, how many sentient beings are there? Compared to the merit manifested by all those sentient beings who have attained the four concentrations, this accumulation of merit possessed by the dedication of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva is called supreme, called sacred, called chief, called excellent, called most excellent, called abundant, called highest, called unsurpassed, called unequaled, called incomparable, called equal to the unequal. Furthermore, Subhuti, in the three-thousand great-thousand world realms, in as many worlds as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River, how many sentient beings are there?
