If sickness occurs, if that jewel is placed on the body of a man or woman, as soon as it is seen, all those sicknesses will be completely pacified. If that jewel is placed in any pond of water, all that water will be endowed with eight qualities, and if it is wrapped with blue, yellow, red, white, madder, crystal, reddish-yellow, or yellowish-brown cloth and placed in the water, all that water will change from becoming blue to becoming yellowish-brown, becoming one color. Ananda, if that jewel is placed in any water that has become turbid, it will become clear, and that jewel is also endowed with those and other qualities. Ananda, likewise, this Prajnaparamita, which is like a jewel, also becomes the source of all qualities and completely pacifies all sins. The Thirty-fourth Chapter, the last, of the Hundred Thousand Prajnaparamita Sutra is complete. Thus spoke the Blessed One, and the venerable Ananda said this to the Blessed One: Venerable Blessed One, is that jewel present among the gods, or is it present among humans? Having said this, the Blessed One said this to the venerable Ananda: Ananda, that jewel is also present among the gods, and that jewel is also present among the humans of Jambudvipa, but that jewel that is present among the humans of Jambudvipa has small qualities. The qualities of the heavenly realm are immeasurable. The jewel of the heavenly realm, whichever casket it is placed in, that casket also becomes endowed with its qualities, and whoever touches that casket, that person will also become endowed with that quality. Ananda, this Prajnaparamita is also like the jewel of the heavenly realm, and this Prajnaparamita, having been written in letters, wherever it is placed, know that no harm will occur there. How are the qualities of that jewel, the Prajnaparamita, and the wisdom of omniscience, from the Paramita of Dhyana to the qualities of the Paramita of Giving?

It should also be viewed in the same way. From inner emptiness to the emptiness of the nature of non-things, it is also the same. From the four close placements of mindfulness to the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha, as well as the qualities of suchness, the nature of the abiding of phenomena, thusness, the ultimate limit, and the inconceivable realm, are also the same. Therefore, the Tathāgatas, Arhats, perfectly complete Buddhas are called all-knowing, having mastery over all phenomena, and are honored, respected as teachers, served, and offered to in the worlds of gods, humans, and asuras. Why is that? Because they are vessels of the six perfections. In that way, combine as before. The Tathāgatas are vessels of the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha, as well as the wisdom of all-knowingness, great compassion, and great love, therefore they obtain offerings. Similarly, having abandoned all connections of afflictions and habitual tendencies, similarly, being without all afflictions, without purification, without birth, without cessation, without taking, without abandoning, without lifting, without placing, without going, without coming, without abiding, they are vessels of the perfections, therefore they obtain offerings. Ananda, furthermore, the Tathāgatas, Arhats, perfectly complete Buddhas of the world realms of the eastern direction as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, and similarly the southern, western, northern directions, the lower and upper directions, and similarly the Tathāgatas, Arhats, perfectly complete Buddhas of the world realms of the four intermediate directions as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, if any son or daughter of good family were to offer for a kalpa, or more than a kalpa, or a hundred kalpas, or a thousand kalpas, or a hundred thousand kalpas, or many hundreds of kalpas, or many thousands of kalpas, or many hundreds of thousands of kalpas, or many billions of trillions of hundreds of thousands of kalpas, like this, with flowers and garlands
