O, months! They are the refuge, companions, and abodes of beings, the support, wisdom, continents, complete guides, and fulfillers of wishes. They are the illuminating lamps, the supreme Dharma, and the unwavering speakers. Those endowed with great fame wear the armor of difficult deeds, but not the armor of aggregates, elements, and sense bases. They are free from the concept of the three vehicles and have no attachment whatsoever. They are the entities of non-reversal, immovability, and non-confusion. They possess such qualities and are free from elaborations, devoid of doubt, hesitation, and duality, and endowed with meaning. Hearing the Perfection of Wisdom, they do not waver, do not rely on others, and are known to be irreversible. The Dharma of the guides is profound and difficult to see, not understood by anyone, and impossible to obtain. Therefore, the benefactors, full of compassion, having attained enlightenment, do not think, "Let me teach the assembly of sentient beings," and thus lessen their worries. Sentient beings delight in places and desire objects. They dwell in attachment and are like the unwise, foolish, ignorant, and those in darkness. The Dharma to be attained is without place and without attachment, therefore disputes arise with the world. The realm of space is the east and the south, likewise the west and the north, without end. Above and below, and in all ten directions, there is no difference, nor is there any distinction. The Thusness of the past, the Thusness of the future, the Thusness of the present, the Thusness of the Arhat, the Thusness of all Dharmas, the Thusness of the Victorious Ones, this Thusness of Dharmas, all are without distinction. The Sugata's enlightenment is separate and free from the Dharma of distinctions. This is the Bodhisattva who wishes to attain enlightenment, who, endowed with skillful means, applies himself to the Perfection of Wisdom. Without the wisdom of a guide, it cannot be attained. For example, a large bird, one hundred and fifty yojanas in size, whose wings are worn out and has no strength, if it jumps from the abode of the Thirty-Three to this Jambudvipa, it will surely be harmed. These five perfections of the Victorious Ones, even if practiced for countless millions of eons, and constantly relying on limitless and vast aspirations, if without skillful means and devoid of wisdom, one will fall into the state of a Hearer. Whoever wishes to definitely emerge from this Buddha Dharma

Having equanimity towards all beings, with the perception of parents, and taming oneself with a mind of benefit and a heart of love. Speaking truthfully and honestly, and speaking with gentle words. Having asked the protector of the world (Buddha) about the methods of dwelling steadfastly and being extremely wealthy, I request the showing of signs of virtues like the ocean, without afflictions. I request the Victorious One to prophesy how those with great power can never regress and will not change. Speaking words that are free from the perception of difference and endowed with reason, not relying on other ascetics and Brahmins. The wise should always abandon the three lower realms, and they should strive to engage in the path of the ten virtuous actions. Without material gain, subsequently showing the Dharma to beings, singularly delighting in the Dharma, and always possessing gentle words. Walking, standing, sleeping, and sitting, one should be fully endowed with mindfulness. Looking at the length of the yoke, and not having a distracted mind when walking. Holding clean and pure clothes, the three (body, speech, and mind) are secluded and peaceful. Not wanting to gain, the excellent ones always desire the Dharma, having transcended the realm of Mara, and not relying on others. Meditating on the four meditations, not dwelling in that meditation. Not desiring fame, and the mind is not disturbed by anger. Even having become a householder, one is always not attached to all things. For the sake of livelihood, one does not seek inferior enjoyments. Not doing fierce mantras, not doing mantras of union with women, and not showing that men and women with desire-filled actions will transform. Striving for the supreme, utterly secluded wisdom of the Perfection of Wisdom. Being free from fighting and arguing, and the heart of love is also firm. Desiring omniscience, being steadfast and always having a focused mind. Completely abandoning the border regions of barbarian peoples. Having no doubts in one's own land, always like Mount Meru. For the sake of the Dharma, one can even give up one's life, and strive to practice yoga. One should know that these are the signs of non-regression. Form, feeling, perception, mental formations, and consciousness are profound, and their nature is without characteristics and utterly peaceful. Just as one would search for the bottom of the ocean with an arrow, if one were to investigate with wisdom, one would not find the bottom of the aggregates. If a Bodhisattva is so profound, for those who realize the ultimate meaning of the Great Vehicle, the five aggregates, the twelve sources, and the eighteen elements do not exist. What could be greater than the merit that is accomplished by realizing this Dharma? For example, a person who practices the Dharma with desire.
