Because whatever is specifically examined and aimed at is the very reason for its being a great object. Therefore, Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who wish to dedicate these roots of virtue should not dedicate them by specifically aiming at and grasping at signs. Dedicating with the concept of an object and the concept of a sign is not considered important by the Tathagatas, Arhats, Samyak-sambuddhas. Why is that? Because that dedication is poisonous and painful. For example, food mixed with poison, which has color and fragrance, is eaten by people of childish nature thinking to eat it, and then they are delighted by the color and fragrance, but when it is digested, it results in suffering. Similarly, some people here misunderstand, misinterpret, and mislearn, and without understanding the meaning and without grasping it in their hearts, they say: 'Noble son, come here. Whatever roots of virtue are accumulated by the Buddhas, Bhagavat Tathagatas of the past, future, and present, from the time they first generated the mind until they fully awakened to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and until they fully entered into the element of Nirvana without residue of aggregates, and until the sacred Dharma does not disappear, by practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, and similarly, whatever roots of virtue are accumulated by practicing the Perfections of Meditation, Effort, Patience, Morality, and Generosity, and those who possess the four meditations, and the four immeasurables, and the four formless absorptions, and the thirty-seven dharmas of the path to enlightenment, and the ten powers of the Tathagata, and fearlessness, and those who accumulate the roots of virtue endowed with individual perfect knowledge, and those who accumulate the roots of virtue endowed with the eighteen unmixed dharmas of the Buddha, and whatever roots of virtue are accumulated by those who purify the Buddha-fields and

Those who completely ripen sentient beings, and what are the aggregates of morality, the aggregates of samadhi, the aggregates of wisdom, the aggregates of liberation, and the aggregates of the wisdom of liberation vision of those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, and up to the wisdom of all-knowingness, the nature of non-forgetfulness, constantly abiding in equanimity, and whatever roots of virtue those Shravaka Vehicle practitioners have cultivated towards them, And whatever prophecies there are for the solitary Buddhas, and the gods, nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, and mahoragas, who have manifestly accumulated roots of virtue towards them, gather all of these together, unify and measure them, and dedicate them entirely to the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. Thus he teaches. In this way, dedicating with the aspect of signs and dedicating with the aspect of clinging is like poisonous food, it will turn into poison itself. Dedication that looks at clinging will not even turn into dedication. Why is that? Because that clinging is connected with poison, with signs, with causes, and with conditions. Dedicating in this way is slandering the Tathagata, and is neither speaking as the Tathagata spoke, nor is it speaking the Dharma. It should be examined in this way. Therefore, sons of good family or daughters of good family, practitioners of the Bodhisattva Vehicle, should train in this way: how to rejoice in and dedicate the roots of virtue of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, of the past, future, and present. From the initial generation of the mind until the Sangha of Shravakas, together with the complete cessation of the aggregates, completely enter into the realm of Nirvana without remainder, and for as long as the sacred Dharma remains, by practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, whatever roots of virtue are manifestly accumulated, up to the attainment of all-knowingness, and the gods, nagas, yakshas, gandharvas,

How should one rejoice and dedicate the roots of virtue created by Asuras, Garudas, Kinnaras, and Mahoragas? How should these roots of virtue be dedicated so that they are dedicated to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment? A son or daughter of good family, a Mahayana practitioner who practices this Prajnaparamita and does not wish to slander the Tathagata, should dedicate in this way: "Just as the Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfect Buddhas have comprehended these roots of virtue with unsurpassed Buddha-wisdom, whatever their nature, whatever their essence, whatever their characteristics, and whatever their Dharma-nature, so too do I rejoice. Just as those Buddhas, Bhagavad-s have comprehended, so too do I dedicate to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment." Thus, a son or daughter of good family, a Mahayana practitioner, should dedicate all roots of virtue to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment in this way. Having dedicated in this way, one will not slander the Tathagata, and one will speak as the Tathagata has spoken, and one will also preach the Dharma. Thus, the dedication of that Bodhisattva-Mahasattva is non-toxic. Thus, one should train. Furthermore, a son or daughter of good family who has entered the Great Vehicle and practices Prajnaparamita should dedicate these roots of virtue in this way: "Form does not belong to the desire realm, the form realm, or the formless realm. Feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness do not belong to the desire realm, the form realm, or the formless realm." Likewise, the realms, the sources, and Prajnaparamita do not belong to the desire realm, the form realm, or the formless realm. Likewise, meditation, diligence, and patience
