There is also nothing in the realm without form. There is also nothing in the realm of the conditioned and the realm of the unconditioned. Sentient beings are liberated from the three realms, and there is no clinging to sentient beings. Not clinging to the designation of sentient beings is endowed with great joy. Because there is no designation of sentient beings, there is no bondage or liberation of sentient beings. Because there is no bondage or liberation of sentient beings, there is no complete affliction or complete purification. Because there is no complete affliction or complete purification, the lineages of the paths are not clung to as being different. When there is no difference in the lineages of the paths, there is no karma or affliction. If there is no karma or affliction, who will possess the ripening result? From where does such a ripening result come, where sentient beings exist in the cycle of the five destinies? The Blessed One declared: "Sharadvatiputra, it is just so. It is just so, just as the words are spoken. If a sentient being previously arose and later did not arise, or if it is just like that, previously existing and later disappearing, the cycle of the five destinies previously existed and later disappeared. Tathagatas and Bodhisattvas will also pass away in that way. Sharadvatiputra, whether Tathagatas appear or Tathagatas do not appear, the suchness of those dharmas, the non-erroneous suchness, the non-other suchness, the dharma-nature, the dharma-dhatu, the abiding nature of dharma, the faultless nature of dharma, the ultimate truth, the inconceivable realm, abide in suchness. In that, there is no self, no sentient being, no life, no goer, no nourisher, no person, no individual, no powerful one, no lord of power, no maker, no feeler, no knower, no seer, then where would form exist in that? Where would feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness exist? Where would the sense bases, the elements, and dependent origination exist? Where would the dharmas of dependent origination exist? If those dharmas do not exist, then from where does the cycle of the five destinies come? And how are sentient beings to be liberated?

Children, where else is there to look? Sharadvatiputra, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, having heard from the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, of the past, such Dharma, emptiness of inherent existence, manifests and enters into unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment for the benefit of sentient beings, without focusing on any sentient beings or Dharma, except for the deluded ordinary people who manifest attachment. Sharadvatiputra, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, having donned such great armor, by donning that armor, will not turn back from unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment. It is not that I will not manifest and attain unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment; without a doubt, I will manifest and attain unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment. Having thus manifested and perfectly awakened, also acting according to the Dharma for the benefit of sentient beings, thinking that through such beneficial actions, sentient beings will be completely liberated from delusion. Sharadvatiputra, for example, a magician or an emanation person, emanates billions of hundreds of thousands of crores of living beings, and satisfies them with delicious and extremely comfortable food. Having thus satisfied them, I have accumulated much merit! I have accumulated much merit! If one were to say this intentionally, Sharadvatiputra, what do you think? Is there anyone among them who is shown and satisfied, or has anyone increased their merit thereby? He replied: Bhagavan, it is not so. The Bhagavan said: Sharadvatiputra, likewise, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, from the moment of generating the initial thought, closely cultivates the Paramitas, cultivates all emptiness, cultivates the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, cultivates the Noble Truths, cultivates Dhyana, cultivates the immeasurables, cultivates the formless absorptions, cultivates liberation, cultivates the successive abidings, and the doors of liberation, emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness.
