Because there is no coming, it does not come from anywhere. It does not go anywhere, and what has not come from anywhere, know that it has not gone anywhere either. This is knowing the arising and ceasing of consciousness. How does one know the suchness of consciousness? The suchness of consciousness is unborn and unceasing, without coming, without going, not completely afflicted, not completely purified, not decreasing, not increasing, not inverted, but abiding as it is. Therefore, it is called suchness. Thus, one knows the suchness of consciousness. How does one know the sense bases? Knowing that the internal dharmas are empty of internal dharmas, and the external dharmas are also empty of external dharmas. Thus, one knows the sense bases. How does one know the elements? Know that the eye element is also empty of the nature of the eye element. The form element is also empty of the nature of the form element. The eye consciousness element is also empty of the nature of the eye consciousness element. The ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind elements are also empty of the nature of the mind element. The dharma element is also empty of the nature of the dharma element. The mind consciousness element is also empty of the nature of the mind consciousness element. Thus, one knows the elements. How does one know dependent origination? Knowing that dependent origination is unborn, and similarly, knowing that dependent origination is unceasing, unbroken, impermanent, not of one meaning, not of different meanings, without coming, without going, free from elaboration and peaceful. Thus, one knows dependent origination. How does one know the noble truths? One knows the noble truth of suffering, the origin, cessation, and the path leading to cessation. How does one know the noble truth of suffering? One knows suffering, one knows truth, one knows the noble truth.

is. Liberation from the two is the noble truth. Knowing non-duality is called the noble truth. Similarly, knowing the origin, cessation, and the path leading to cessation is the noble truth. Thus, the noble truths are known. How is the suchness of suffering known? The suchness of suffering is known as non-erroneous. Similarly, the suchness of origin, cessation, and the path are also fully known. Thus, the suchness of the noble truths is known. Then, the venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, if a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, while practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, seeks those mutually different dharmas in that way, will he not disturb the Dharmadhatu? The Blessed One said: Subhuti, if there were a dharma that does not belong to the Dharmadhatu, then it would be disturbed. Subhuti, no other dharma apart from the Dharmadhatu is perceived. If it were perceived, then the Dharmadhatu would also be disturbed. Why is that? Subhuti, the Tathagata, Bodhisattva, or Pratyekabuddha, and the Shravakas of the Tathagata, have not perceived any dharma that does not belong to the Dharmadhatu. Because it is not perceived, there is no speculation that there is another dharma that does not belong to the Dharmadhatu. Subhuti, in that way, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, should train in the Dharmadhatu. Subhuti asked: Blessed One, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, learning the Dharmadhatu, what will he learn? The Blessed One said: Subhuti, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva who practices the Dharmadhatu will learn all dharmas. Why is that? Subhuti, in this way, all dharmas are the Dharmadhatu. Asked: Blessed One, for what reason are all dharmas the Dharmadhatu? The Blessed One said: Subhuti,

Thus, whether the Tathāgatas appear or do not appear, the dharmadhātu of all dharmas abides as such in an undifferentiated manner. Subhūti, the dharmadhātu is like this: all dharmas, whether virtuous or non-virtuous, worldly or transworldly, with outflows or without outflows, with faults or without faults, conditioned or unconditioned. Subhūti, thus, when a bodhisattva-mahāsattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, by training in the dharmadhātu, one will train in all dharmas. The Blessed One, I beseech you, if all dharmas are the dharmadhātu, how does a bodhisattva-mahāsattva, practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, train in form? How does one train in feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness? How does one train in the sense bases, elements, and dependent origination? How does one train in the Perfection of Giving? How does one train in the Perfection of Morality, the Perfection of Patience, the Perfection of Diligence, the Perfection of Meditation, and the Perfection of Wisdom? How does one train in inner emptiness? How does one train in the emptiness of the nature of non-things? How does one train in the four mindfulnesses? How does one train in the four correct abandonments, the four legs of miraculous power, the five faculties, the five powers, the seven branches of enlightenment, and the eightfold noble path? How does one train in the four noble truths, the four meditations, the four immeasurables, the four formless absorptions, the eight liberations, the nine progressive abidings, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, the six superknowledges, all samādhis, and all dhāraṇī gates? How does one train in the ten powers of the Tathāgata, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, great love, and great compassion?
