I see that suffering is ultimately eliminated by the three (wisdoms). Those Bodhisattvas, great beings, do not fail to please those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, but please them; they do not fail to delight their minds, but delight them; they are not disrespectful, but attend to them with extreme respect and devotion. Those Bodhisattvas, great beings, hold the Dharma taught by those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, and having held it, they will uphold it until they attain complete and perfect enlightenment and Buddhahood, and will never abandon it. and give themselves away. Thereupon, those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas have their limbs and minor limbs cut off and chopped up, and scattered in the ten directions. Those sentient beings belonging to the animal realm eat the flesh of those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas, and thereby develop loving-kindness towards those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas. Having developed loving-kindness, they are liberated from the animal realm. Having been liberated, they are born among gods and humans. Even having been born among them, they please the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. They attend to and honor those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, hear the Dharma from those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, and diligently apply themselves accordingly. They, through the Hearer Vehicle, or the Solitary Buddha Vehicle, or the Great Vehicle, or through those three Vehicles, gradually see complete Nirvana in the realm of Nirvana without remainder. Subhuti, thus, those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who generate the mind for unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment, and who diligently apply themselves accordingly, accomplish so many benefits. Subhuti, I also, from here, with the Buddha's eye, observe the world, and in the lands as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, in the southern, western, northern, northeastern, southeastern, southwestern, northwestern, lower, and upper directions, the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas give themselves away for the benefit of sentient beings in the animal realm. Thereupon, those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas have their limbs and minor limbs cut off and chopped up, and scattered in the ten directions. Those sentient beings belonging to the animal realm eat the flesh of those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas, and thereby develop loving-kindness towards those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas. Having developed loving-kindness, they are liberated from the animal realm. Having been liberated, they are born among gods and humans. Even having been born among them, they please the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. They attend to and honor those Buddhas, the Bhagavat.
