Like bees swirling around a lotus, (the Buddha's) hair possesses a blackness like that of bees. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, have exhausted the latent tendencies to be abandoned through seeing and meditating, thus their hair is thick. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, have comprehended the essence of the teachings with gentle minds, thus their hair is soft. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, constantly possess undistracted minds, thus their hair is not tangled. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are completely free from harsh speech, thus their hair is not rough. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, have harmoniously gathered beings with the limbs of enlightenment, the flowers of incense, thus their hair is fragrant. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, have hands and feet adorned with auspicious swastikas and swirling patterns of joy. Shariputra, these are the eighty minor marks of a Tathagata, an Arhat, a Perfectly Enlightened Buddha. Shariputra, thus, explaining, teaching, and correctly elucidating such aspects of the Dharma to others is called the transcendent Dharma-dana (gift of Dharma). Shariputra, therefore, Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas gather beings with material gifts and Dharma gifts. Shariputra, this is the wondrous and extraordinary Dharma of the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas. Shariputra, how do Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas gather beings with sweet words? Shariputra, in this case, Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas gather beings with the six paramitas, namely, the paramita of generosity, the paramita of ethics, the paramita of patience, the paramita of diligence, the paramita of meditation, and the paramita of wisdom. Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas gather beings with sweet words through these six paramitas. Why is that? Because these six paramitas include all virtuous dharmas without exception. Shariputra, therefore, Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas with sweet words
