Remaining in that state, with divine vision, one sees in the immeasurable, countless, and inconceivable world realms of the eastern direction all the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who abide and nurture, and teach the Dharma. Having seen those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, one attains mindfulness of the Buddha. That mindfulness of the Buddha is continuous until one manifestly and completely awakens to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and until one becomes a Buddha. Remaining in all those noble, uncontaminated, transcendent Dharmas, which are not common to the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, one completely perfects the superknowledges of the noble Dharma. Having completely perfected those superknowledges, remaining in the six perfections and the five superknowledges, with divine vision, one sees in each of the southern, western, northern, northeastern, southeastern, southwestern, northwestern, lower, and upper directions, in the immeasurable, countless, and inconceivable world realms, all the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who abide. Having seen those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, one attains mindfulness of the Buddha. That mindfulness of the Buddha is continuous until one manifestly and completely awakens to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, and until one becomes a Buddha. With divine ears that transcend the human, one hears the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, speaking. Having heard, one holds it. Having held it, one diligently practices according to reality. Having diligently practiced according to reality, one teaches the Dharma to sentient beings according to reality. Knowing the varieties of minds, one thoroughly understands the minds of those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, with one's mind. One also thoroughly understands the minds of all the noble ones, Hearers, Solitary Buddhas, and all sentient beings. Having completely understood the minds of all sentient beings with one's mind, one teaches the Dharma according to reality. Knowing the recollection of past lives, one completely understands the past roots of virtue of those sentient beings, and again one correctly shows the roots of virtue to those sentient beings. One correctly encourages them. One correctly

Incessantly praised. Truly rejoiced. He knows that all defilements are exhausted, and knowing that all defilements are exhausted, he firmly establishes sentient beings in the three vehicles. Subhuti, when that Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, with a mind free from characteristics, he thus perfects the Perfection of Patience with regard to all phenomena that are without characteristics, without action, without object, without arising, and without manifest activity. When that Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he ripens sentient beings through skillful means, and purifies the Buddha-fields. Having ripened sentient beings and purified the Buddha-fields, he cultivates all-knowingness, and having perfected all-knowingness, he manifestly awakens to unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment. Having manifestly awakened to unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment and become a Buddha, he turns the Wheel of Dharma. Having turned the Wheel of Dharma, he completely liberates sentient beings from cyclic existence through the three vehicles. Subhuti, thus, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he perfects the Perfection of Patience with regard to all phenomena that are without characteristics, without action, without object, without arising, and without manifest activity. Subhuti, how does a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva perfect the Perfection of Diligence with a mind free from characteristics with regard to all phenomena that are without characteristics, without action, without object, without arising, and without manifest activity when practicing the Perfection of Wisdom? Subhuti, in this case, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, with a mind free from characteristics with regard to all phenomena that are without characteristics, without action, without object, without arising, and without manifest activity, the initial
