Even up to the point of all-knowingness, there is no manifestation of attachment to signs or the absence of signs. There is no manifestation of attachment to form, whether with desire or without desire. There is no manifestation of attachment to feeling, perception, mental formations, and consciousness, whether with desire or without desire. There is no manifestation of attachment to the sources of birth, realms, and dependent origination, whether with desire or without desire. Even up to the point of all-knowingness, there is no manifestation of attachment, whether with desire or without desire. There is no manifestation of attachment to form, whether it is secluded or not secluded. There is no manifestation of attachment to feeling, perception, mental formations, and consciousness, whether secluded or not secluded. There is no manifestation of attachment to the sources of birth, realms, and dependent origination, whether secluded or not secluded. Even up to the point of all-knowingness, there is no manifestation of attachment, whether secluded or not secluded. Why is that? Because a dharma that is empty of inherent existence cannot be fully awakened to enlightenment by being called permanent, impermanent, happiness, suffering, self, no-self, peace, non-peace, emptiness, non-emptiness, having signs, not having signs, having aspirations, not having aspirations, being secluded, or not being secluded. Essence cannot be manifested by essence. Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, the Perfection of Concentration, the Perfection of Diligence, the Perfection of Patience, the Perfection of Discipline, and the Perfection of Generosity, he will abide in the state of all-knowingness. Subhuti, just as the army of a wheel-turning king, possessing four divisions, goes wherever the wheel-turning king goes, so too, Subhuti, these five perfections follow the Perfection of Wisdom, and wherever all-knowingness is, they will abide there.

Raabjor, for example, like this: for example, a driver rides in a chariot with four pairs of horses and travels on a level road. Similarly, the Perfection of Wisdom, which drives the five perfections, also travels on the level road to where all-knowingness is. Asked: Blessed One, what is the path of the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas? What is not the path? The Blessed One said: The path of the Hearers to attain all-knowingness is not the path of the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas. The path of the Solitary Buddhas is not the path of the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas. The six perfections, preceded by the Perfection of Wisdom, to attain all-knowingness, are the path of the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas. This is the path and non-path of the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas. Asked: Blessed One, thus this Perfection of Wisdom, which shows the path and non-path, abides for the sake of the great benefit of the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas. The Blessed One said: Shariputra, it is so, it is so. The Perfection of Wisdom shows the path and non-path, therefore it abides for the sake of the great benefit of the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas. The Perfection of Wisdom abides for the sake of the immeasurable benefit of the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas. The Perfection of Wisdom abides for the sake of the countless benefits of the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, and although the Perfection of Wisdom speaks of that benefit, it does not completely grasp form, nor does it completely grasp feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness. It does not abide for the sake of being completely grasped to transform into the state of Hearers and Solitary Buddhas. This Perfection of Wisdom does not cause the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas to completely attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, nor does it abandon the state of Hearers and the state of Solitary Buddhas. All kinds of
