Should also be practiced. One should practice in the emptiness of the inner. One should practice between the emptiness of the nature of non-things. One should practice in the mindfulness. One should practice in the right abandonment, the magical foot, the senses and powers, the limbs of enlightenment, and the eightfold noble path. One should practice in the noble truths, meditation, immeasurable, and formless samadhi. One should practice in the eight liberations, the nine successive abidings, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, supernormal knowledge, samadhi, and the door of dharani. One should practice in the power of the Tathagata, fearlessness, separate correct knowledge, and the unmixed Buddha Dharma. One should practice up to the all-knowingness. Then, the sons of the gods who practice in desire and those who practice in form said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, thus the Bodhisattva Mahasattva wishes to manifest all dharmas and become enlightened, but those dharmas do not exist and are not perceived, so it is difficult for the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment to arise. The Blessed One said to the sons of the gods: It is so, it is so. Sons of the gods, it is so, it is so, it is difficult for the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment to arise. Sons of the gods, I also manifested all dharmas in all ways and became enlightened, but in terms of ultimate truth, whether it is who manifests and becomes enlightened, or by what manifests and becomes enlightened, or any dharma that should be manifested and become enlightened is not perceived. Why is that? Sons of the gods, because all dharmas are extremely pure. Then, the venerable Subhuti said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, what is said by the Blessed One as "it is difficult for the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment to arise", according to the meaning of what the Blessed One said, and according to my thinking, it is not difficult for the Blessed One to manifest and become enlightened in the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment.

Ka. Why is that? Blessed One, it is like this: there is nothing that can realize complete enlightenment, nothing that can realize complete enlightenment through anything, and nothing that can be done to realize complete enlightenment, because all dharmas are emptiness. Since all dharmas are emptiness, there is nothing that can realize complete enlightenment, nothing that can realize complete enlightenment through anything, and there is no such dharma that can be done to realize complete enlightenment. Why is that? Blessed One, it is like this: all dharmas are emptiness, so for the sake of increasing or decreasing any dharma, giving alms, keeping morality, practicing patience, exerting effort, engaging in meditative concentration, practicing wisdom, or meditating on inner emptiness, or even meditating on the emptiness of the nature of non-things, or meditating on the mindfulness, or practicing the right abandonment, as well as the feet of magical power, the faculties, the powers, the limbs of enlightenment, or practicing the eightfold noble path, or even practicing the eighteen unshared Buddha dharmas, or those dharmas that are to be studied for the sake of knowing all aspects, do not exist, because those dharmas that can realize complete enlightenment, or through which complete enlightenment can be realized, or that can be done to realize complete enlightenment, are all emptiness. Blessed One, in this way, Bodhisattva Mahasattvas can easily realize complete, unsurpassed, perfect enlightenment. Why is that? Blessed One, it is like this: form is empty by the nature of form, feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness are empty by the nature of consciousness. The sense bases, elements, and dependent arising are empty by the nature of dependent arising. All the perfections and all the emptinesses, and the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment are empty by the nature of the factors of enlightenment. The noble truths and
