One should encourage purity. One should praise the goodness of abandoning all afflictions that connect with habitual tendencies. One should rejoice in praising and agreeing with the goodness of those other sentient beings who abandon all afflictions that connect with habitual tendencies. Thus, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who wishes to manifest the unexcelled, perfectly complete enlightenment should abide in a way that does not focus on signs. I should also fully take up the perfection of life. Furthermore, one should also encourage the perfection of life. One should praise the goodness of the perfection of life. One should rejoice in praising and agreeing with the goodness of those other sentient beings who uphold the perfection of life. I should also fully take up the abiding of the holy Dharma. Furthermore, one should also encourage the upholding of the abiding of the holy Dharma. One should praise the goodness of upholding the abiding of the holy Dharma. One should rejoice in praising and agreeing with the goodness of those other sentient beings who uphold the abiding of the holy Dharma. Subhuti, thus, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who wishes to manifest the unexcelled, perfectly complete enlightenment should abide in a way that does not focus on signs. Thus, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva should train in the Perfection of Wisdom and skillful means. By training in that way and abiding in that way, his form will be without obstruction. Feeling, perception, mental formations, and consciousness will be without obstruction. The sense bases, elements, and dependent origination will be without obstruction. All the perfections, all emptiness, and the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment will be without obstruction. Even the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha will be without obstruction. The knowledge of the fruit of stream-entry will be without obstruction. The knowledge of the fruit of once-returning, the knowledge of the fruit of non-returning, and the knowledge of Arhatship will be without obstruction. The knowledge of solitary enlightenment will be without obstruction. The Bodhisattva's faultless conduct will be without obstruction. Completely ripening all sentient beings.

In order to become peaceful, in order for the Buddha-field to be completely pure, it will become without obstruction. The wisdom of all-knowingness will become without obstruction. Abandoning all the afflictions that bind habits will become without obstruction. Life's perfection will become without obstruction. The abiding of the sacred Dharma will become without obstruction. What is the reason for this? It is because the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, from the very beginning, has not completely grasped form, nor has he completely grasped feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness. He has not completely grasped the twelve sense bases, the eighteen elements, and dependent origination. He has not completely grasped all the perfections, all of emptiness, and the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment. He has not completely grasped up to the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha. He has not completely grasped up to all-knowingness. What is the reason for this? It is because whatever form is ungraspable is not form. Whatever feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness are ungraspable are not consciousness. Whatever the twelve sense bases, the eighteen elements, and dependent origination are ungraspable are not dependent origination. Whatever all the perfections, all of emptiness, and the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment are ungraspable are not the factors of enlightenment. Whatever the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha are ungraspable are not the qualities of the Buddha. Whatever all-knowingness is ungraspable is not all-knowingness. When this dwelling place of the Bodhisattva was taught, two thousand Bodhisattvas attained forbearance of the unborn Dharma. The Twenty-Five Thousand Verse Perfection of Wisdom, Chapter Thirty-Eight, is complete. Chapter Thirty-Eight.
