And declares impurity. Regarding the unmixed dharmas of the Buddhas, it declares impermanence. Regarding the unmixed dharmas of the Buddhas, it declares suffering, selflessness, and impurity. Regarding all-knowingness, it declares impermanence. It declares all-knowingness as suffering, selflessness, and impurity. Whoever declares in this way is said to be practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. Those who are taught will also conceive of form as impermanent. They will discern form as suffering, selflessness, and impurity. They will conceive of all-knowingness as impermanent. They will conceive of all-knowingness as suffering, selflessness, and impurity. Thus, they conceive of all-knowingness as impermanent, conceive of all-knowingness as suffering, conceive of selflessness, and conceive of impurity, and this is practicing the image of the Perfection of Wisdom. Kauśika, this is the image of practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. Kauśika, furthermore, if those sons or daughters of good family teach the Perfection of Wisdom, they should teach as follows: Come, son of good family, cultivate the Perfection of Wisdom! When you have cultivated the Perfection of Wisdom, you will abide in the first bodhisattva ground, and will abide up to the tenth ground. Come, son of good family, cultivate the Perfection of Dhyana, the Perfection of Diligence, the Perfection of Patience, the Perfection of Morality, and the Perfection of Generosity! When you have cultivated the Perfection of Generosity, you will abide in the first bodhisattva ground, and will abide up to the tenth ground. This is taught in terms of characteristics and in terms of objects. At that time, one recognizes the Perfection of Wisdom with the perception of time.
