It is not existent, it is not non-apprehending, it is not accepting, it is not abandoning, it is not abiding, it is not non-abiding, it is not correct, it is not incorrect, it is not possessing, it is not non-possessing, it is not mixing, it is not non-mixing, it is not a cause, it is not without a cause, it is not a dharma, it is not a non-dharma, it is not suchness, it is not non-suchness, it is not the correct limit, it is not the incorrect limit. This is the meaning of non-duality. Sons or daughters of good family, if they extensively proclaim and teach this Perfection of Wisdom to others, explain and interpret it, differentiate and clarify it, correctly indicate it, and show the determination of its meaning, then merit will greatly increase, not just by oneself grasping, fully comprehending, holding, reciting, or properly attending to it. Kausika, furthermore, sons or daughters of good family, if someone themselves also uphold the Perfection of Wisdom, fully comprehend it, hold and recite it, properly attend to it, and also extensively proclaim and teach it to others, explain and interpret it, differentiate and clarify it, correctly indicate it, and show the determination of its meaning, Kausika, then the merit of that son or daughter of good family will increase very greatly. Indra requested: Bhagavan, how should sons or daughters of good family proclaim the Perfection of Wisdom in a way that is complete with meaning and complete with letters? The Bhagavan replied: Kausika, sons or daughters of good family should proclaim the Perfection of Wisdom in a way that is complete with meaning and complete with letters. Kausika, sons or daughters of good family who proclaim it in this way will possess immeasurable and countless accumulations of merit. Kausika, if some of the sons or daughters of good family, in each direction of all ten directions, to immeasurable and countless Buddhas, Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Ones, until the end of their lives, offer flowers, garlands, incense, unguents, powders, clothes, umbrellas, banners, and flags

I say, rather than serving, honoring, respecting, and making offerings with various musical instruments and all comfortable items, if a son or daughter of the Kausika lineage extensively teaches others this Perfection of Wisdom, replete with meaning and letters, explaining, expounding, analyzing, clarifying, and correctly indicating it in various ways, then the merit of that son or daughter of the lineage will greatly increase. Why is that? Because by learning this Perfection of Wisdom, all the Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas of the past, future, and present have manifestly awakened, will manifestly awaken, and are manifestly awakening to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Furthermore, Kausika, if any son or daughter of a lineage practices the Perfection of Giving, the Perfection of Ethics, the Perfection of Patience, the Perfection of Diligence, the Perfection of Meditation, and the Perfection of Wisdom for immeasurable, countless eons with a mind of attachment, it is not as good as if someone extensively speaks, teaches, explains, establishes, well establishes, analyzes, clarifies, and correctly indicates the meaning and letters of this Perfection of Wisdom to others without attachment. Their merit will greatly increase. Attachment to this is as follows: Kausika, a Bodhisattva gives with attachment, thinking, "I am giving, I am giving this, I should give to this person." Then, by giving in that way, it only becomes giving itself, not the Perfection of Giving. Thinking, "I am keeping ethics, I am guarding this precept," then by guarding ethics in that way, it only becomes ethics itself, not the Perfection of Ethics. Thinking, "I am cultivating patience, I am cultivating this patience," then by doing so,
