There is emptiness within. There is the nature of non-things between selflessness and emptiness. There are thirty-seven factors of enlightenment. There are eighteen unmixed qualities of the Buddha. There is the knowledge of all things. There is the knowledge of the aspects of the path and the knowledge of all aspects. There are those who have entered the stream. There are once-returners, non-returners, arhats, and solitary Buddhas. There are Bodhisattvas, great beings. There is the Tathagata, Arhat, perfectly enlightened Buddha. Furthermore, Kausika, however many people there are in Jambudvipa, if some of those sons or daughters of good family are established in the four meditations, established in the four immeasurables, established in the four formless absorptions, established in the five superknowledges, Kausika, what do you think? Does the merit of that son or daughter of good family increase greatly because of that? He replied: Blessed One, it increases greatly. Well-gone One, it increases greatly. The Blessed One said: Kausika, therefore, whichever son or daughter of good family gives this Perfection of Wisdom scripture to others for the sake of reading, writing, and reciting, their merit will increase even more. Why is that? Kausika, it is like this: in this Perfection of Wisdom, all dharmas are extensively taught. Kausika, let alone Jambudvipa, let alone the world of the four great continents, let alone the thousandfold world, let alone the two-thousandfold world, let alone the three-thousand great thousandfold world. Kausika, however many beings there are in the eastern world, as many as the sands of the Ganges River, and in the south, west, north, northeast, southeast, southwest, northwest, below, and above, in each direction, however many beings there are in the world, as many as the sands of the Ganges River, if some of those sons or daughters of good family are established in the four meditations, established in the four immeasurables, established in the four formless absorptions, established in the five superknowledges

If arranged, Kauśika, what do you think? Do the merits of that son or daughter of good family increase greatly because of this? They replied: Blessed One, many. Sugata, many. The Blessed One said: Kauśika, compared to that, whichever son or daughter of good family gives this book of the Perfection of Wisdom to others for the sake of reading, writing, and reciting, their merit will increase even more. Why is that? Kauśika, it is because from this Perfection of Wisdom, the undefiled dharmas are extensively taught, and having taught them, sons or daughters of good family also enter without error. They enter, will enter, have obtained the fruit of stream-entry, will obtain, will obtain. Until they obtain the state of Arhat, will obtain, will obtain. They obtain self-awakening, will obtain, will obtain. Bodhisattvas, great beings, also enter the path of Bodhisattvas without error. They enter, will enter. They awaken to unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment, will awaken to perfect enlightenment, will awaken to perfect enlightenment. Kauśika, furthermore, whichever son or daughter of good family holds, recites, reads, comprehends, and properly attends to this Perfection of Wisdom, their merit will increase even more. Even if all sentient beings of Jambudvipa, and the sentient beings between the three thousand great thousand worlds, and in each of the ten directions, as many sentient beings as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River, are placed in the path of the ten virtuous actions, the four concentrations, the four immeasurables, the four formless absorptions, and the five superknowledges, it is not like properly attending to it. What is proper attention? It is to hold and comprehend this Perfection of Wisdom with a mind that does not cling to duality, nor cling to non-duality.

and mindful attention. Not with a mind that engages in duality, nor with a mind that engages in non-duality, one holds, fully comprehends, carries, recites, and pays proper attention to the Perfection of Wisdom. Not with a mind that engages in duality, nor with a mind that engages in non-duality, one holds the emptiness of the internal, fully comprehends, carries, recites, and pays proper attention to it. Not with a mind that engages in duality, nor with a mind that engages in non-duality, one pays proper attention to the emptiness of the nature of non-things. The Twenty-Five Thousand Verse Perfection of Wisdom, Chapter Thirty-Five. Not with a mind that engages in duality, nor with a mind that engages in non-duality, one pays proper attention to the mindfulness, the correct abandonments, the legs of magical power, the faculties, the powers, the limbs of enlightenment, and the eightfold noble path. Not with a mind that engages in duality, nor with a mind that engages in non-duality, one pays proper attention to the unmixed qualities of the Buddhas. Not with a mind that engages in duality, nor with a mind that engages in non-duality, one pays proper attention to all-knowingness. Kauśika, furthermore, if a son or daughter of good family extensively speaks, shows, explains, interprets, distinguishes, and clarifies this Perfection of Wisdom to others in various ways, and correctly indicates and establishes its meaning, Kauśika, for them, the meaning of the Perfection of Wisdom is this: the Perfection of Wisdom is not viewed as dual, not viewed as non-dual, not as characterized, not as uncharacterized, not as taken, not as abandoned, not as diminished, not as increased, not as defiled, not as purified, not as born, not as ceased, not as grasped.
