树木、鲜花和花环，以及香、涂香、粉末、衣服、伞、胜幢、幡旗和各种乐器来进行供养、恭敬、尊重和祭祀，也没有什么不同。那是什么缘故呢？因为从这之中产生了如来、应供、正等觉的诸佛。世尊，此外，无论是善男子还是善女子，如果受持、读诵、通晓这部般若波罗蜜多，如理作意，并且为他人广为宣说，那么他（她）就不会有堕入地狱道的担忧，不会有堕入旁生道的担忧，不会有堕入阎罗王世界的担忧，不会有堕入声闻地的担忧，不会有堕入独觉地的担忧。那是什么缘故呢？因为要知道这样的善男子或善女子安住于不退转地。那是什么缘故呢？因为他（她）如此书写、受持、读诵、通晓这部般若波罗蜜多，如理作意。对于书写本，也用鲜花、花环、香、涂香、粉末、衣服、伞、胜幢、幡旗和各种乐器来进行供养、恭敬、尊重和祭祀。世尊，这样一来，这部般若波罗蜜多就能平息一切恐惧，彻底消除一切疾病。世尊，此外，无论是善男子还是善女子，如果书写、受持、读诵、通晓这部般若波罗蜜多，并且用鲜花、花环、香、涂香、粉末、衣服、伞、胜幢、幡旗和各种乐器来供养、恭敬、尊重和祭祀，那么他（她）就不会有任何地方产生恐惧的担忧。世尊，比如，一个拥有财富的人感到恐惧，于是依附于国王，

With trees, flowers, garlands, as well as incense, unguents, powders, clothing, umbrellas, victory banners, flags, and various musical instruments, there is no difference in making offerings, showing respect, esteem, and worship. What is the reason for this? Because from this arise the Tathagatas, Arhats, perfectly enlightened Buddhas. World-Honored One, furthermore, whether it be a son of good family or a daughter of good family who holds, recites, comprehends, and keeps in mind this Perfection of Wisdom, and extensively teaches it to others, then he/she will have no fear of the lineage of hell beings, no fear of the birth place of animals, no fear of the lineage of the realm of Yama, no fear of the ground of Hearers, and no fear of the ground of Solitary Buddhas. What is the reason for this? Because in this way, that son of good family or daughter of good family is known to abide in the ground of non-retrogression. What is the reason for this? Because he/she thus writes, holds, recites, and comprehends this Perfection of Wisdom, and keeps it in mind properly. Even to that written copy, one makes offerings, shows respect, esteem, and worship with flowers, garlands, incense, unguents, powders, clothing, umbrellas, victory banners, flags, and various musical instruments. World-Honored One, in this way, this Perfection of Wisdom pacifies all fears and completely eliminates all diseases. World-Honored One, furthermore, whether it be a son of good family or a daughter of good family who writes, holds, recites, and comprehends this Perfection of Wisdom, and makes offerings, shows respect, esteem, and worship to it with flowers, garlands, incense, unguents, powders, clothing, umbrellas, victory banners, flags, and various musical instruments, then he/she will have no fear of any place from which fear may arise. If one relies on a king, then one dwells in the king and relies on the king. Whose fears, those themselves also rely on him, therefore they will not be afraid. What is the reason for that? Blessed One, it is like this: whoever relies on a king, relies on someone powerful. Blessed One, similarly, those relics of the Thus-Gone One, because of the perfection of wisdom, are worthy of offerings. Blessed One, whatever is the wisdom of all aspects of knowledge, that is also regarded as being accomplished by the perfection of wisdom. Blessed One, therefore, I will choose this perfection of wisdom from those two parts. Blessed One, what is the reason for that? Because from this arise the relics of the Thus-Gone One. From this arise the thirty-two marks of a great person. From this arise the ten powers of the Thus-Gone One, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, and the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha. From this arise great love and great compassion. Blessed One, from this arise the five perfections, and they obtain the name of perfections. From this arises even the all-knowingness of the Thus-Gone One. Blessed One, in whatever village, town, city, region, royal residence, or in any realm of the three-thousand great-thousand world system, where this perfection of wisdom is held, recited, understood, written, revered, respected, served, and offered to, those who seek faults and opportunities, whether human or non-human, will not find any fault, because all those beings will gradually become beings of the nature of complete liberation from suffering through any of the three vehicles. Blessed One, therefore, this perfection of wisdom is endowed with great meaning, and in the three-thousand great-thousand world system, it thus abides for the benefit of sentient beings' Buddhahood. Where this exists, that world is regarded as if a Buddha has appeared. Blessed One, for example, there is a great precious jewel called immeasurable treasure. It possesses such qualities of a great precious jewel. Wherever that precious jewel is placed, non-humans cannot find an opportunity. If a man or woman possessed by a non-human is shown that precious jewel, that non-human cannot bear the radiance of that great precious jewel, and will quickly leave and not stay. If that great precious jewel is worn on a body afflicted by bile disease, that bile disease will also be cured. If that great precious jewel is worn on a body tormented by wind disease, that wind disease will also be cured.
