World-Honored One, because in this way, the unborn is not one, not two, not many, not different. Therefore, what is the unborn of eye consciousness, that is not eye consciousness. World-Honored One, what is the unborn of ear consciousness, nose consciousness, tongue consciousness, body consciousness, and mind consciousness, that is not mind consciousness. World-Honored One, what is the unborn of the water element, the fire element, the wind element, the space element, and the consciousness element? It is not the consciousness element.
