是何者，那不是法。世尊，眼识的衰退是何者，那不是眼识。因此，眼识和衰退这两者不是二，不能做成二。那是什么缘故呢？世尊，那是这样，衰退不是一，不是二，不是多，不是不同。因此，眼识的衰退是何者，那不是眼识。世尊，耳识和、鼻识和、舌识和、身识和、意识的衰退是何者，那不是意识。因此，意识和衰退这两者不是二，不能做成二。那是什么缘故呢？世尊，那是这样，衰退不是一，不是二，不是多，不是不同。因此，意识的衰退是何者，那不是意识。世尊，眼根聚合而产生的触的衰退是何者，那不是眼根聚合而产生的触。因此，眼根聚合而产生的触和衰退这两者不是二，不能做成二。那是什么缘故呢？世尊，那是这样，衰退不是一，不是二，不是多，不是不同。因此，眼根聚合而产生的触的衰退是何者，那不是眼根聚合而产生的触。世尊，耳根聚合而产生的触和、鼻根聚合而产生的触和、舌根聚合而产生的触和、身根聚合而产生的触和、意根聚合而产生的触的衰退是何者，那不是意根聚合而产生的触。因此，意根聚合而产生的触和衰退这两者不是二，不能做成二。那是什么缘故呢？世尊，那是这样，衰退不是一，不是二，不是多，不是不同。因此，意根聚合而产生的触的衰退是何者，那不是意根聚合而产生的触。世尊，由眼根聚合而产生的触为缘而生起的感受的衰退是何者？

Whatever that is, that is not Dharma. World-Honored One, whatever is the decline of eye consciousness, that is not eye consciousness. Thus, eye consciousness and decline are not two, they cannot be made into two. What is the reason for that? World-Honored One, it is like this, decline is not one, not two, not many, not different. Therefore, whatever is the decline of eye consciousness, that is not eye consciousness. World-Honored One, the decline of ear consciousness, nose consciousness, tongue consciousness, body consciousness, and mind consciousness, whatever that is, that is not mind consciousness. Thus, mind consciousness and decline are not two, they cannot be made into two. What is the reason for that? World-Honored One, it is like this, decline is not one, not two, not many, not different. Therefore, whatever is the decline of mind consciousness, that is not mind consciousness. World-Honored One, whatever is the decline of contact arising from the convergence of the eye, that is not contact arising from the convergence of the eye. Thus, contact arising from the convergence of the eye and decline are not two, they cannot be made into two. What is the reason for that? World-Honored One, it is like this, decline is not one, not two, not many, not different. Therefore, whatever is the decline of contact arising from the convergence of the eye, that is not contact arising from the convergence of the eye. World-Honored One, the decline of contact arising from the convergence of the ear, contact arising from the convergence of the nose, contact arising from the convergence of the tongue, contact arising from the convergence of the body, and contact arising from the convergence of the mind, whatever that is, that is not contact arising from the convergence of the mind. Thus, contact arising from the convergence of the mind and decline are not two, they cannot be made into two. What is the reason for that? World-Honored One, it is like this, decline is not one, not two, not many, not different. Therefore, whatever is the decline of contact arising from the convergence of the mind, that is not contact arising from the convergence of the mind. World-Honored One, whatever is the decline of feeling arising from the condition of contact arising from the convergence of the eye?

那个不是由眼根聚集而接触的因缘所生的感受。这样的话，由眼根聚集而接触的因缘所生的感受和衰减，这两者不是二，不能被认为是二。那是什么缘故呢？世尊，是这样的，衰减不是一，不是二，不是多，不是各异。因此，由眼根聚集而接触的因缘所生的感受的衰减，不是由眼根聚集而接触的因缘所生的感受。世尊，由耳根聚集而接触的因缘所生的感受，由鼻根聚集而接触的因缘所生的感受，由舌根聚集而接触的因缘所生的感受，由身根聚集而接触的因缘所生的感受，由意根聚集而接触的因缘所生的感受的衰减，不是由意根聚集而接触的因缘所生的感受。这样的话，由意根聚集而接触的因缘所生的感受和衰减，这两者不是二，不能被认为是二。那是什么缘故呢？世尊，是这样的，衰减不是一，不是二，不是多，不是各异。因此，由意根聚集而接触的因缘所生的感受的衰减，不是由意根聚集而接触的因缘所生的感受。世尊，地界的衰减，不是地界。这样的话，地界和衰减，这两者不是二，不能被认为是二。那是什么缘故呢？世尊，是这样的，衰减不是一，不是二，不是多，不是各异。因此，地界的衰减，不是地界。世尊，水界、火界、风界、空界、识界的衰减，不是识界。这样的话，识界的衰减，这两者不是二，不能被认为是二。那是什么缘故呢？世尊，是这样的，衰减不是一，不是二，不是多，不是各异。因此，识界的衰减，不是识界。

That is not the feeling caused by the condition of contact through the gathering of the eye. Thus, the feeling caused by the condition of contact through the gathering of the eye and its decrease are not two, and cannot be considered as two. What is the reason for that? Blessed One, the decrease of the earth element is not the earth element. Thus, the earth element and its decrease are not two, and cannot be considered as two. What is the reason for that? Blessed One, it is like this: decrease is not one, not two, not many, not different. Therefore, the decrease of the earth element is not the earth element. Blessed One, the decrease of the water element, the fire element, the wind element, the space element, and the consciousness element are not the consciousness element. Thus, the decrease of the consciousness element and the consciousness element are not two, and cannot be considered as two. What is the reason for that? Blessed One, it is like this: decrease is not one, not two, not many, not different. Therefore, the decrease of the consciousness element is not the consciousness element.
