It is so. Inner and outer emptiness are not permanent, nor are they annihilated. Why is that? Because its nature is such. The nature of non-things, even up to emptiness, is not permanent, nor is it annihilated. Why is that? Because its nature is such. Venerable Sharadvatiputra, the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment are not permanent, nor are they annihilated. Why is that? Because its nature is such. The eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha, even up to that point, are not permanent, nor are they annihilated. Why is that? Because its nature is such. Venerable Sharadvatiputra, virtuous dharmas and non-virtuous dharmas, conditioned dharmas and unconditioned dharmas, defiled dharmas and undefiled dharmas are not permanent, nor are they annihilated. Why is that? Because its nature is such. Venerable Sharadvatiputra, in this way, all dharmas are the nature of non-things. The Twenty-five Thousand Verse Perfection of Wisdom, Chapter Twenty-four. Venerable Sharadvatiputra, if someone says, 'Why is form not manifestly established? Why are feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness not manifestly established?' What does this mean? Venerable Sharadvatiputra, it is just so. Why is that? Venerable Sharadvatiputra, thus, form is not manifestly accumulated. Feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness are not manifestly accumulated. Why is that? Thus, there is no manifest accumulation in them. Venerable Sharadvatiputra, the eye is not manifestly accumulated. Why is that? Thus, there is no manifest accumulation in it. Ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind are not manifestly accumulated. Why is that? Thus, there is no manifest accumulation in them. Form is not manifestly accumulated. Why is that? Thus, there is no manifest accumulation in it. Sound, smell, taste, touch, and dharmas are not manifestly accumulated. Why is that? Thus, there is no manifest accumulation in them. Venerable
