One should know that there is no form. Because there is no form, one should know that there is no sound, no smell, no taste, no touch, and no dharma. Because there is no dharma, one should know that there is no space. Because there is no space, one should know that there is no Great Vehicle. Because there is no Great Vehicle, one should know that there is no immeasurable. Because there is no immeasurable, one should know that there is no uncountable. Because there is no uncountable, one should know that there is no inconceivable. Because there is no inconceivable, one should know that all dharmas are non-existent. Subhuti, by these means, this Great Vehicle can awaken immeasurable and countless beings. What is the reason for this? Subhuti, it is because whatever is self, whatever is sentient being, whatever is life, whatever is knower, whatever is between seers, whatever is the inconceivable realm, whatever is form, whatever is sound, smell, taste, touch, and dharma, whatever is space, whatever is the Great Vehicle, whatever is immeasurable, whatever is uncountable, whatever is inconceivable, whatever is all dharmas, all of these are without object. Furthermore, Subhuti, because there is no self, one should know that there is no sentient being. Because there is no sentient being, one should know that there is no knower. Because there is no knower, one should know that there is no seer. Because there is no seer, one should know that there is no inconceivable realm. Because there is no inconceivable realm, one should know that there is no eye consciousness. Because there is no eye consciousness, one should know that there is no ear consciousness, no nose consciousness, no tongue consciousness, no body consciousness, and no mind consciousness. Because there is no mind consciousness, one should know that there is no space.

It should be understood in this way. Subhuti, this Dharma category enables immeasurable and countless beings to understand the Great Vehicle. Why is that? Subhuti, it is like this: what is called 'self', what is called 'sentient being', what is called 'life', what is called 'knower', even what is called 'seer', what is called 'inconceivable realm', what is called 'eye-consciousness', what is called 'ear-consciousness', what is called 'nose-consciousness', what is called 'tongue-consciousness', what is called 'body-consciousness', what is called 'mind-consciousness', what is called 'space', what is called 'Great Vehicle', what is called 'immeasurable', what is called 'innumerable', what is called 'unfathomable', what is called 'all dharmas'—all of these are without object. Furthermore, Subhuti, because of no-self, one should understand that there are no sentient beings. Because there are no sentient beings, one should understand that there is even no knower. Because there is no knower, one should understand that there is no seer. Because there is no seer, one should understand that there is no inconceivable realm. Because there is no inconceivable realm, one should understand that there is no contact arising from the meeting of the eye. Because there is no contact arising from the meeting of the eye, one should understand that there is no contact arising from the meeting of the ear, no contact arising from the meeting of the nose, no contact arising from the meeting of the tongue, no contact arising from the meeting of the body, and no contact arising from the meeting of the mind. Because there is no contact arising from the meeting of the mind, one should understand that there is no space. Because there is no space, one should understand that there is no Great Vehicle. Because there is no Great Vehicle, one should understand that there is nothing immeasurable. Because there is nothing immeasurable, one should understand that there is nothing innumerable. Because there is nothing innumerable, one should understand that there is nothing unfathomable. Because there is nothing unfathomable, one should understand that there are no all dharmas. Subhuti, this Dharma category enables immeasurable and countless beings to understand the Great Vehicle. Why is that? Subhuti, it is like this: what is called 'self', what is called 'sentient being', what is called 'life', what is called 'knower', even what is called 'seer', what is called 'inconceivable realm', what is called 'contact arising from the meeting of the eye'
