O venerable Sharadvatiputra, whatever Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, with a mind engaged with the all-knowingness itself, does not make those perfections, sentient beings, and enlightenment into signs, and does not fixate on them, this is the armor of the six perfections for a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practicing the perfection of patience. O venerable Sharadvatiputra, furthermore, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, practicing the perfection of diligence, not with a mind engaged with the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, but with a mind engaged with the all-knowingness itself, completely gives alms, and also makes that root of virtue common with all sentient beings, and dedicates it to the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, this is the armor of the perfection of generosity for a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practicing the perfection of diligence. O venerable Sharadvatiputra, furthermore, a Bodhisattva- Mahasattva, practicing the perfection of diligence, not with a mind engaged with the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, but with a mind engaged with the all-knowingness itself, protects morality, and also makes that root of virtue common with all sentient beings, and dedicates it to the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, this is the armor of the perfection of morality for a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practicing the perfection of diligence. O venerable Sharadvatiputra, furthermore, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, not with a mind engaged with the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, but with a mind engaged with the all-knowingness itself, practices the perfection of diligence, and thus endures, believes in, and relies on those dharmas, this is the armor of the perfection of patience for a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practicing the perfection of diligence.
