The mind, too, is without outflows and without being caught in anything because of its emptiness of inherent nature. Subhuti said: That is so, venerable Saradvatiputra, the minds of individual children are also without outflows and without being caught in anything because of their emptiness of inherent nature. The minds of Hearers and Solitary Buddhas are also without outflows and without being caught in anything because of their emptiness of inherent nature. The minds of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are also without outflows and without being caught in anything because of their emptiness of inherent nature. He said: If that is so, venerable Subhuti, form is also without outflows and without being caught in anything because of its emptiness of inherent nature. Feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness are also without outflows and without being caught in anything because of their emptiness of inherent nature. Even up to the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha are without outflows and without being caught in anything because of their emptiness of inherent nature. Even up to all-knowingness is without outflows and without being caught in anything because of its emptiness of inherent nature. Subhuti said: Just as you said, venerable Saradvatiputra, form is also without outflows and without being caught in anything because of its emptiness of inherent nature. Feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness are also without outflows and without being caught in anything because of their emptiness of inherent nature. Even up to the unshared qualities of the Buddhas are without outflows and without being caught in anything because of their emptiness of inherent nature. Even up to all-knowingness is without outflows and without being caught in anything because of their emptiness of inherent nature. He said: Venerable Subhuti, what you said, 'Because there is no mind, there is no attachment to that mind,' is so. Venerable Subhuti, not only that, but also the absence of form is without attachment to form. The absence of feeling, the absence of perception, the absence of formation, and the absence of consciousness are also without attachment to consciousness. Even the absence of the factors of enlightenment is without attachment to the factors of enlightenment. The Buddha's

Also, there is nothing between the unmixed dharmas, and there is no attachment to the unmixed dharmas of the Buddhas. Also, there is nothing between all-knowingness, and there is no attachment to all-knowingness. It is said: The son of Sharadvati, the venerable one, is like that. Even without form, there is no attachment to form. Without feeling, without perception, without formation, and without consciousness, there is no attachment to consciousness. Also, there is nothing between the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment, and there is no attachment to the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment. Also, there is nothing between the unmixed dharmas of the Buddhas, and there is no attachment to the unmixed dharmas of the Buddhas. Also, there is nothing between all-knowingness, and there is no attachment to all-knowingness. The son of Sharadvati, the venerable one, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom in this way, even with the unequal mind and the equal mind of enlightenment, the Shravakas, the Solitary Buddhas, and all the uncommon minds, there is no arrogance in the way of not being attached to all dharmas. Because there is no manifest attachment, therefore, it is called a Bodhisattva Mahasattva. Then, the son of Maitreya, the venerable one, said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, for what reason is it that I also have courage when it is said that he is a Bodhisattva Mahasattva? The Blessed One said: Gangpo, you should have courage. Gangpo said: Blessed One, he is a being who has put on great armor. Blessed One, he is a being who has truly entered the Great Vehicle, and he is a being who truly abides in the Great Vehicle. Therefore, he is called a Bodhisattva Mahasattva. Then, the son of Sharadvati, the venerable one, said to the son of Maitreya, the venerable one: Venerable Gangpo, how much does a Bodhisattva Mahasattva know that he has put on great armor? Gangpo said: Son of Sharadvati, the venerable one, here, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva is a small part of sentient beings.
