Emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, and the manifest knowledges, the samādhis, the gateways of dhāraṇī, the ten powers of the Tathāgata, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, and the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha are signs. Letters are signs. Saying "one" is a sign. Saying "two" is a sign. Saying "different" is a sign, that is called affliction. If that Perfection of Wisdom is apprehended as a sign, then even the wandering garland-wearer will not gain faith in this omniscient wisdom. What is faith? It is trusting in the Perfection of Wisdom, thinking, devotion, reliance, attention, measuring, and examining. That is not in the manner of signs, nor is it in the manner of signlessness. Thus, that is sign and signlessness, and because of not completely grasping, it is completely grasped. Even the wandering garland-wearer, having developed devotion to this omniscient wisdom, enters with a small wisdom that follows faith. Having entered in that way, he does not completely grasp form, nor does he completely grasp feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness. It is like this: he does not perceive the complete grasping of all phenomena that are empty of their own nature. Why is that? It is because he does not truly observe inwardly in accordance with the way of realizing and attaining that wisdom. He does not truly observe outwardly in accordance with the way of realizing and attaining that wisdom. He does not truly observe inwardly and outwardly in accordance with the way of realizing and attaining that wisdom. He does not truly observe in accordance with the way of realizing and attaining that wisdom, apart from that. Why is that? It is because he does not truly observe in accordance with any phenomenon by which one realizes, and whatever is realized, and such a phenomenon that is realized. He does not truly observe that wisdom within form. That wisdom is in feeling, perception, formation

, and did not truly see within consciousness. Wisdom did not truly see outside of form. Wisdom did not truly see outside of feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness. Wisdom did not truly see inside and outside of form. Wisdom did not truly see inside and outside of feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness. Wisdom is not form, and did not truly see elsewhere. Wisdom is not feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness, and did not truly see elsewhere. Wisdom did not truly see within the interval of the true limit. Wisdom did not truly see outside of the true limit. Wisdom did not truly see inside and outside of the true limit. Wisdom is not the true limit, and did not truly see elsewhere. To this term, the wandering Garland was inspired with faith. Having been so inspired, the follower of faith took the nature of reality as the measure, and in order to not fixate on all phenomena, entered into the wisdom of the all-knowing. Having been so inspired, because there is no characteristic or attention to any dharma, there is no grasping. Because all dharmas are neither graspable nor rejectable, he did not fixate on any dharma that could be grasped or rejected. Because there is no pride in all dharmas, even nirvana does not become a source of pride for him. Blessed One, in this way, because there is no grasping of all dharmas, there is no grasping of form, or of feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness. Because there is no grasping of all dharmas, there is also no grasping of the sense bases, elements, dependent origination, the perfections, all emptinesses, the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment, the noble truths, the meditations, the immeasurables, and the formless absorptions.

and the various liberations, the nine successive abidings, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, the various superknowledges, the various samādhis, the doors of dhāraṇī, the ten powers, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, the eighteen unshared qualities of a buddha, the absence of manifest activity, suchness, the nature of phenomena, the sphere of phenomena, the abiding nature of phenomena, the stainless nature of phenomena, and the non-apprehension of the entirety of the correct extreme—this is the perfection that has no further shore, the perfection of the bodhisattvas, the great beings. However, until aspirations are completely fulfilled, one does not completely pass beyond sorrow in the intermediate state. The four mindfulnesses are not completely fulfilled. The four correct abandonments, the supports of miraculous ability, the faculties, the powers, the seven limbs of enlightenment, and the noble eightfold path are not completely fulfilled. The four noble truths, the four concentrations, the four immeasurables, the four formless absorptions, the eight liberations, the successive abidings of the nine successive abidings, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, the various superknowledges, the various samādhis, the doors of dhāraṇī, the ten powers of the tathāgata, the four fearlessnesses, the four analytical knowledges, and the eighteen unshared qualities of a buddha are not completely fulfilled, one does not completely pass beyond sorrow in the intermediate state. Why is that? Like this, aspirations are not aspirations. The four mindfulnesses are not the four mindfulnesses. The four correct abandonments, the supports of miraculous ability, the faculties, the powers, the limbs of enlightenment, the noble eightfold path, the noble truths, the concentrations, the immeasurables, the formless absorptions, the eight liberations, the successive abidings of the nine successive abidings, emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, the various superknowledges, the
